Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My partner and I had the pleasure of having our wedding at this beautiful site and we have nothing but praise for it. The location is secluded and very natural and very expansive. The villas are all unique and very well equipped. The Spas are a special inclusion, with wonderful views, especially at sunset. Definitely a luxury experience. The wine centre is where we chose to have our wedding ceremony and reception. The decked area was a perfect location, with lovely afternoon shade and enough space comfortably for 50 guests. The reception was on the adjacent lawn area. This area was also comfortably sized for 50 guests, and with some festoon lighting strung overhead, became a magical place at night. The venue was very well equipped, with a large array of delicious wines and local drinks. The food was so well done that we have had guests comment months later on how good it was. Finally, the staff. The staff were so accommodating and relaxed, they made the whole experience of planning a wedding a breeze. Special shout out to Andrew, Bronny and Russell. They were so helpful and present when needed, yet out of the way at the same time. Little things like having a drink delivered unexpectedly, just when we needed it, made the day extra special. I honestly can't recommend this place enough, for a wedding, a casual drink at the wine centre, or a holiday. Pike will forever be a special place for both me and my partner

The facilities at this location is fantastic. We stayed 3 nights with an indulgence package. The facilities were very clean and had ample food inclusion. The surroundings and views are beautifully just as a good as in the pictures on the website. Staff are fantastic and very accommodating nothing too much troubles.

This is a lovely place, it is very clean and well appointed. The beds are comfortable but do have an annoying rim on the floor which takes getting used to. Sounds trivial but it is definitely a trip hazard. The breakfast provisions and snacks are really great, the staff are friendly and the view is magnificent. It is adjacent to the Riverland Wine Centre which does good food and tastings.

WOW. We stayed in the Red gum villa. What a beautiful place, nothing is to much trouble. Stunning views and picturesque views, amazing hot tub. Lovely complimentary dried fruit, cheese and wine. Free Breakfast provisions including jam, bread, yoghurt and juice yummy! They even got me lactose free milk!! Do yourself a favour and stay at this incredible place. Only thing I might suggest is comfier pillows as they were quite flat but thats just me nitpicking if I had to. Heated flooring in the bathroom area. Please read instructions in the booklet provided to use the hot tub as we didn't and it was frustrating 😂. They have free WiFi, which we used at night to watch Netflix on the TV. Indoor fire place which doesn't give off much heat but they have a heating and cooling system if needed. I would say maybe to Make this place even better they could provide eggs and bacon and an option for breakfast I thought they were included under the "provisions" but was mistaken if I had known they weren't provided would have brought them with me. 😊 overall it's an amazing place and I can't wait to go back already. ❤❤

Came here for part of our honeymoon and it was awesome - very, very secluded with all the amenities you could want. BBQ and spa on the deck are the highlights, as is the retractable roof to see the stars (though it would be nice if the glass was cleaner, but anyway). Recommended!

We visited for a relaxing holiday to celebrate my partner's 30th birthday. No request was too much! Brok cooked us an amazing meal in our villa and it was the best experience. The food was incredible and his service was clean and professional. The accommodation and facilities were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. We truly had a fantastic break and we will return. Thank you

Great set up. We have stayed at the woolshed as a family before and wanted somewhere smaller, Dusk suited us. Great view of the river, designed to a high standard with all you need for your stay including a spa on the deck. Comfortable bed, wet room, full kitchen and BBQ. What a great escape.

Excellent location with lots of interesting designs of the building & surrounds. Stunning views & sunsets. A great place to enjoy wine tasting & take in the views. The accommodation looks great but did not stay there.

What a wonderful getaway! We had the pleasure of staying in the Dusk Villa. It was clean and we were left wanting for nothing! The furnishings were lovely and the views of the river from all rooms were gorgeous! We ordered a ‘Welcome Platter’ which was tasty and generous and waiting in the fridge when we arrived.....there was also a complimentary bottle of wine which was a lovely surprise! The in deck spa was heated and waiting for our arrival.....it was just sublime sitting in it with a glass of wine looking out at the view! The included continental breakfast supplies were terrific....bread, spreads, cereals, fresh orange juice, milk and a Nespresso coffee pod machine! There was also a compendium full of things to see and do around the area...... very helpful! Would we go back to Pike River Luxury Villas?......in a heartbeat! Cannot recommend it highly enough!!! Thanks to Andrew & Bronny......you provide a wonderful service!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights as did our friends before and after our Murray River walk. We absolutely loved these Villas, especially the night viewing glass roof over the king size bed. On the second night we enjoyed a wonderful BBQ on the terrace overlooking the excellent view of the valley and watched the sun sink in the west.
