We've just returned from a 6 week trip to Mexico. We stayed at Manta Raya for two nights in July. It was one of the favourite parts of our time in Mexico for our whole family. My kids loved it and so did my husband and I. Manta Raya is a special hotel in a very special place in Mexico....

Mantaraya hotel was for me the perfect place to celebrate my 40 birthday!!! I wanted peace, I founded, I wanted good meal with a good wine, I founded, I wanted a good dessert after meals i found them, I wanted to be attended and feel like in my own little Castle and I got it. When I was there, I...

The review by Leigh B perfectly describes the Manta Raya experience, in particular the line about "the art of just being," which is something this hotel seems to magically provide in every way. Manta Raya quickly became the home away from home we always wanted. And its perfect size of just seven guest rooms means there are just a handful...

The best place to be when looking for a quiet summer holiday, out of the crowd and no noise. Spacy room with a spectacular sea view (even from the gigantic bed), a huge balcony with relaxing chairs and a hammock. The beach, with bright sand, is clean, just outside the hotel and empty. The sea might be a bit rough...

We stayed at Manta Raya for 4 amazing nights. We arrived with big plans to explore the area, but only ventured out for two 1/2 day excursions. Both ended up paling in comparison to the immediate surroundings of Manta Raya. I'm an adventurous traveler, so for me to say, "Let's just stay here at the hotel all day" is an...

My husband and I went to the Manta Raya to celebrate our anniversay with 4 other couples. From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. This is a small boutique hotel situated right on the ocean. Reto, the owner and his staff are absolutely amazing. It is quiet, with a lovely pool and relaxing cabanas. The food...

Manta Raya is located smack on the somewhat remote, but ruggedly beautiful, Salchi Beach north of Huatulco on the Pacific coast of Oaxaca. The rooms are large, modern and simple, but very nice. Every one has a large balcony over looking the small rugged bay. My girlfriend and I stayed for just two nights. We would have like to stay...

Just returned from our week long vacation at Manta Raya hotel. Already missing the spectacular views and delicious food. The view from our room and balcony was incredible. It’d be nice to have a view like that to enjoy every day. It was so relaxing to just sit and watch the waves coming in and the water splashing off the...

Our family spent four nights at this small 7-room hotel set on a secluded, dramatic bay, well off the beaten track. After adventuring at break-neck speed through Mexico City, it was such a pleasure to arrive here and find total relaxation with a margarita and book under a palapa by the beach or on a bed by the pool. As...
