Lovely cabin set in beautiful, peaceful surrounds, cabin was clean and comfortable with all that you need for a relaxing stay. Felt like you were miles from anywhere and visits from beautiful parrots and other birds provided great entertainment as did the games provided. The posters on local flora and fauna were an unique feature thanks to the wonderful hosts for a great stay.

The cabin was comfortable and well equipped in a beautiful forest setting of absolute peace and tranquility. King parrots joined us for breakfast on the back verandah, kookaburras entertained us and Helen looked after us by providing all we needed in this gorgeous place to stay for a couple of days. We enjoyed our chats with this lovely lady too. We were only about 6km from Forrest with some nice cafes and a pub for dinner. The beautiful Steavenson's Falls are just down the road from the cabins. The Otways are stunningly scenic if you love walks in rainforests and fern gullies, leading to lovely lakes and waterfalls. Just driving around the area is so lovely, even if you're unable to walk the tracks. Thoroughly recommend the area in general and the cabins in particular.

This is our second visit and we absolutely loved it. We went prior to renovations and then after and I thought the feel of the cabin would be gone, but it wasn't! They have been beautifully renovated and have everything you could poasibly need to relax with the family. Thank you Helen and Igor.

This was our second trip to Barramunga Cabin after about 18 years. This remained as peaceful and relaxing as ever. We stayed for two nights at Cabin B. This is a very cosy place with wood fire and very close to nature. One can see lots of colourful parrots and other birds. The sound of bush is also wonderful of the birds and kookaburra singing. Stevenson falls is not far off. There are few tracks for bush walking through gum trees and rain forest. The closest town with general store and restaurant is Forrest which is 6 km away. The TV reception is good but mobile phone coverage is extremely poor. There is also no internet; but there is no need for such distraction here. The kitchen is well equipped. Hot water works fine. The beds are good. There is not much to complain about. The owner lives nearby and very friendly and helpful.

Igor and Helen are the perfect hosts and made us feel really welcome. The cabin was immaculate and had everything you could possibly want. The well kept grounds and surrounding bush were beautiful, as was the birdlife and the peace and quiet. Would highly recommend this place for those seeking some serenity and relaxation. My wife and I loved our stay and will surely return. Neil & Carol..

These cabins are hidden gems! Not too fancy, just right - fit in perfectly to their surrounding. Helen and Igor are wonderful hosts, around if you need them, but certainly not intrusive. They provide everything that is needed, and more: soap, shampoo and body wash, as well as games for both indoor and out.The surroundings are gorgeous, walks close by, Stephensons Falls, The Otway Fly and Apollo Bay are close by and definitely worth a visit. about half an hour away and lovely to explore. We went with 2 other families, we had Cabin B, ample for 6, and the others shared the larger cabin; we enjoyed the BBQ and the fire outside. Don't forget the marshmallows!

Beautiful spot in the woods up in the Otways. We wanted a quiet few days away and got exactly that. Helen set us up brilliantly and then left us alone to enjoy our surroundings. Take advantage of the free birdseed and you'll have the local birds eating out of your hand. A great experience for our little girl. We had the the big cabin all to ourselves, I think we'll be back, but as a larger group next time, it's the perfect set up for it.

Our family had a great weekend away, we stayed in the larger cabin and the younger children loved feeding the wild parrots on the verandah each morning. The cabin was very clean, with everything we needed, and the hosts Helen and Igor were very helpful at every opportunity. We visited Stevenson's Falls down the road, saw glow worms there at night and saw the beautiful and eerie Lake Elizabeth on a frosty later afternoon. We had a really good dinner at the Wonky Donkey pub in Forrest and would recommend this as a family holiday for a range of age groups.

Beautiful part of the world!! Amazing nature walks, stunning waterfalls and great little towns nearby. Great spot for bird watching, we enjoyed our breakfast by the wood fire watching the Rosella's and King parrots feed from our veranda each morning. We loved our stay at the cabins, thanks Helen. : )

Enjoyed a fantastic long weekend away. We stayed in the large cabin which was comfortable and had everything that you would require. Kids loved the open space at the front of the cabin and were able to play cricket and other ball games. We fed the King Parrots daily from the verandah. Beautiful and tranquil setting. Hosts Helen and Igor were wonderful. Stevenson Falls are located down the road from the cabins. Apollo Bay 30 minutes away. We travelled down to Port Campbell for a day trip and explored the Otways.
