Would recommend this place highly for relaxation. Very well taken care of with everything you need for any meal you want to prepare. They even had coffee and filters. The table on the pond is perfect to enjoy your morning coffee. Owners are wonderful people.

We were looking for a getaway for our 33rd anniversary and wanted a cozy cabin in a beautiful spot. We could not have been happier. The other reviews give a good description but I will emphasize that it is just the right touch of rustic without being primitive, and it is spotlessly clean! The grounds are beautifully landscaped and there...

We did not want to leave this amazing getaway. My wife and I stayed in one of the Forgotten Times cabins and felt like the place was made specifically for us. Dave and Mary, the owners, have literally built this property from the ground up. The refurbished Civil War era cabins could not be more quaint or comfortable. Honestly, the...

“The larger cabin (Pioneer) has more windows. The other looks very cozy and inviting and has a beautiful deck in the back. A note for older couples and those with small children you must be able to climb into the loft and the stairs in Pioneer are rather steep. The other actually has a ladder to the loft.”
