A very upsetting way to end my holiday in Europe. Rude and intimidating staff, unwilling to take responsibility for their own mistake. When asked for help to make an outside phone call , we were informed to just dial 9 to get out , there was no mention of price per minute or any written price for outside phone call...

Poseidon is disappointing after you look at the photos. The rooms are small (the beds are packed in tight) with dodgy showers and a lack of power points. The pool is quite small and there is not that much space to sun bathe. On the positive, it is very easy to get to from the airport and the breakfast is...

The lobby and the rooftop bar/restaurant would not lead you to believe that this place is too shabby. We stayed for five nights in August for our honeymoon. However, the room was not clean. The first thing to hit me was the smell--smelled liked a kitty litter box. Next was what I believe were mouse droppings behind the bathroom door...

My family of three spent one night at this hotel in a "triple"room (one large bed plus cot with firm mattress). Location good, right across the road from beach and bars and at a bus stop for the bus to/from the airport. The hotel could use some sprucing up as it is a bit worn and the decor is dated,...

The hotel has a great pool bar and friendly staff who make you're stay at the hotel much better. I stayed here as part of a contiki tour and found it to be one of the nicer hotels we stayed at during our time in Greece. The wifi is pretty fast and the hotel has an elevator to help you...

Had a great experience with this hotel while in Athens was upgraded to a sea view room upon arrival, staff were friendly and helpful with all our questions and engaged a conversation with us about our holiday so far. Hotel facilities were great, the restaurant served yummy food and had a great view and the roof top bar was great...

On our first trip to Greece we - family of 4, stayed for a week at the Poseidon Hotel. We could not have been happier with our choice of hotel, due to the location, cleanliness, service and breakfast served. We had 2 rooms on the 5th floor with a partial sea view. Yes, it is located on the busy road,...

Hotel was nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Good buffet breakfast. Handy supermarket next door. Opposite beach and tram stop. BUT hotel is on a VERY busy road noisy traffic all the time and smell of fumes when sitting on the balcony. Roof top pool nice but not enough room around the outside and often no loungers or parasols spare.

My fiance and I had an engagement dinner with about 40 family members at the Poseidon Hotel and we had a great experience. The event area had amazing views of the sea and coastline that made for a beautiful background for our photos. The staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. We highly recommend hosting an event with...

- Their "free wifi" does NOT work - The pool looks 5 times bigger on the pictures. - Breakfast is nice enough. Had better. - Cleaner walked into the room without knocking although "do not disturb" sign was on. Management did not apologise and claimed it was our fault and that the sign was not put up properly. Very disappointed...

“You get a brilliant view from the sea view rooms but there is a busy main road running all along the sea front so it is noisy. The sliding doors though keep a lot of the noise out. But the view is most definitely worth having. ”
