I stayed at the Travelodge this weekend because the reviews were decent and I had to stay one night for breakfast. This place looks like an episode of cops is just waiting to be filmed. There's no elevator. The room is very small, dimly lit, very mildew smelling, and the bathroom looks like something you would find in a campground...

The one star is given to the convenient location. Other than that are not good. The hallways is smelly badly. I was hoping the non-smoking room would be better, but I was wrong, the room is still musty smelling. It's very difficult to sleep because the air conditioner was extremely loud, the building is badly insulated that the noise keep coming...

Well, the highlight of this stay was Chad checking us in at the front desk; friendly and helpful. We trudged up the seemingly dirty staircase to our room. No bathmat, hot and cold water handles were reversed, washed by face in cold and drank hot. the office did not have any decafe coffee, the sheet had a hole in it. It...

Our room was very clean, updated, and had comfortable mattresses. The breakfast was standard - bagels, pastries, coffee, juice and cereal. There might be a better way to keep milk cold (instead of having a gallon sitting in a tub with melting ice), but otherwise we had no complaints.

We stayed at the Bloomington, IN Travel Lodge while moving our son back to IU and found it to be clean, updated, and with some of the more comfortable mattresses we've slept on in hotels. After finding dirty, stained and filthy mattresses and bed linens in some of the more expensive hotel chains (i.e. Holiday Inn) we were extremely pleased...
