I was lucky enough to be able to visit Costa Rica for a second time this year, and returned to Pachamama. When I stayed previously the owner Estelle was away, and her substitute Elizabeth did a wonderful job, but I was happy to meet Estelle this time and experience her amazing hospitality. She let us know about events in the...

We stayed here for Christmas last year and had one of the most memorable holidays ever. Pachamama's is a very special place, we received such a warm welcome from Estelle, Florian and their two beautiful dogs, Linda and Leticia. Estelle and Florian are extremely friendly, and helpful and made us feel right at home immediately. It is a nice and...

We were within 300yds of the beach but still had a jungle setting. The owner was on site took care of our needs and the cabins were perfect. we had monkeys in the trees just outside of the cabin, we had howler momnkeys wake us up in the morning. Breakfast was very good and prompt.

We initially booked to stay for three nights at Pachama Jungle Lodge. We drove all the way across from the Pacific Side (Playa Santa Teresa) over to Punta Uva on the Caribbean side. I was particularly excited about staying here but after our first full day we decided that we would move on to a new location. this was partly...

I was with a family group staying here from Feb 20 to Mar 20, 2013. We were the new owners first. The previous owner Bill, left the new owners in a bad spot. He had sold off the bikes, kayaks, snorkling equip we were told of. He also took the deposit. This left Florian in a difficult situation. He did...

A Facebook add caught our attention so My wife and I decided to travel to the other side of Costa Rica and see how the Caribbean side lives. What a wonderful top shelf experience we had.Our room was spotlessly clean with touches of French finery here and there. The room was a bit small or the bed a bit large...

Also very close to the beach, two minutes by bikes which come with the room. Very nice to have breakfast brought to our veranda every morning - the kids loved the hot chocolate and the croissants. From our veranda we saw monkeys, sloths and a keel billed toucan - all in just a weeks stay. We had a great time...

We spent 4 nights with our family of 5 at villa Monos in July. Although we had lots of rain, we had a great time. Estelle is a gracious host and takes good care of her place. Stylishly decorated rooms, very clean. Breakfasts are delicious!!! A real jungle lodge, gorgeous beach, great vibe. Recommended!

We stayed at Pachamama for 8 nights in July. Estelle was a wonderful host who helped us in any way she could and provided a delicious breakfast every morning. It was wonderful falling asleep every night to nature sounds (frogs, howler monkeys, insects, rain, etc.). It poured rain almost every evening which was unlike anything we experienced anywhere else but...

Estelle takes amazing care of her property and little cottages and her breakfasts were fantastic! Unfortunately for us, we were there when it was very rainy and stormy and didn't get to do any snorkel, fishing or kayaking trips which is what we went there to do.
