We stayed at Pachamama for our first 5 days in Costa Rica. This was the perfect home base to start a relaxing vacation. The bungalow was right in the middle of the jungle. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching all of the amazing wildlife. There was a toucan nest in a nearby tree and we watched 2 toucans...

This place came highly recommended to us. Upon arrival, we found a very badly neglected bungalow, smelling very musty, and looking dirty. We rented bikes and had to go back 3 times because their was something wrong each time; tire popped, seat falling off, not holding air, plus they were all rusty (obviously left outside and not cared for). It...

Since February 2013, we are the new owners of Pachamama. Did you like the environment Pachamama, much less services. We invite you to discover the new Pachamama. Accommodations fully renovated (bedroom, kitchen, bathroom), full breakfast served on your terrace, daily housekeeping, bicycles available (free) and a fully landscaped garden. We will be delighted to welcome you and show you the...

We just got back from 2 glorious weeks as guests at Pachamama. All the reviews we read before were right. This location is absolutely fabulous. I could not imagine a more beautiful place for unspoilt rain forest and beaches. And unspoilt means just that. The Carribean coast of Costa Rica is very undeveloped - so the good news is that...

Lynne and I wanted to thank Bill for taking such good care of us while we stayed at Pachamama. We loved our casita and the cooking. Thanks for all the extras --laundry, having beer for us when we arrived, potato chips and simply marvelous breakfasts and dinners. Sea Bass --Yum Yum! The trip was fantastic and you were a big...

Bill and Cathy are awesome hosts, and the location and value are great! You are surrounded by jungle and there are lots of critters to see. (There was a sloth hanging out right on the path to our bungalows.) It's very humid and hot/damp (at least in August), so bring light, quick-dry items and bug repellent. Earplugs are also a...

We loved our stay here. The location was perfect. Away enough from town but close to beautiful beaches. The snorkeling beach was close by and the snorkeling outstanding. Enjoyed the delicious breakfasts every morning and the dinner we had the night we arrived. From our casita we were able to view lots of wildlife. Howler monkeys were everywhere we had...

This time I feel compelled to do so as Pachamama and it's owners Bill and Cathy are suberb hosts with an awesome setting. The property is treed and the structures well...

Wow, where to begin with Pachamama! We stayed in a bungalow, which was perfect. Comfortable bed with netting, clean beautiful bathroom, and a patio looking into the jungle. We had breakfast included in our stay, and it was delicious (especially the banana pancakes!) It is a wonderful place to stay to be off the beaten track, but still close to...

My wife and I spent a month in the one-bedroom house at Pachamama and it was the best vaction of our lives. The house and grounds are fantastic--well maintained and ideally suited to the jungle surroundings (clean, cool, and comfortable)--but Bill's service puts Pachamama in a class by itself. We had him prepare many of our meals, because they are...

This was our 4th time at Pachamama but this is the 1st time I decided to write a review. Pachamama is the perfect place to stay when you want to get away from it all and be one with nature. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and filled with nature including howling monkeys. Not to mention the beautiful beaches of Punta...
