Situated about 10 minutes from Scamander, this B&B is a comfortable, modern residence a few minutes walk from the beach. Our host, Bob, was very helpful and gave us lots of advice on the local area. We stayed in the first floor suite and had a spacious well appointed room with a balcony overlooking the countryside and the coastline. There is also an open plan lounge/dining area downstairs which is comfortable and welcoming. I would recommend this B&B for those seeking peaceful comfort.

- newly built and furnished, very comfy beds, lots of fresh towels
- upstairs room has a balcony, ensuite and distant view of Four Mile Creek beach through the trees
- breakfast freshly cooked at 8.30am incl fruit, yoghurt, poached eggs, mushrooms, spinach
- owner (Bob) is very friendly and sociable - be ready for a good chat about hiking, scuba diving and local attractions!
- only stay here if you have a car to get around - St Helen's, the nearest town with cafes, restaurants, supermarket, is at least 30min away
- tad pricey given its remote location, but the service and facilities makes up for it

Unfortunately only had one night to stay as it would have been a pleasure to stay longer and utilise it as a home base to be a tourist in the area. Bob was very welcoming and provided more than is normally expected. Will recommend to all my friends who are travelling in the area.

My partner and I stayed in the studio for two nights. The location is amazing for exploring everything the north-east coast has to offer. Bob was very friendly and was happy to share his local knowledge with us - even offering to make dinner reservations on our behalf. We were very pleased with the service and the accommodation and will definitely stay here again.

We loved our couple of days at Four Mile Creek. Bob was an excellent host (he cooks a mean breakfast!) and the simplicity of the place (lots of space) made it easy to unwind.

First time for most if us exploring that part of Tassie and wow. Just an awesome experience. From the B&B north... I'd rate it the best coastline I've seen.

Recommended.

We stayed here for a weekend late in 2012. Very peaceful, beautiful location. We saw wallabies in the back garden at twilight - lovely to watch from the balcony of our room. The beach was an easy walk away, and the food provided was excellent. Lovely remote spot to get away from it all.

High quality accommodation; in-house rooms include delicious breakfast each morning. The host (Bob) is very welcoming and always offers helpful, local advice in relation to sights, travel times and local eating/coffee spots. It was absolute pleasure to stay and we strongly recommend!

Four Mile Creek B&B is a very new building with all the comforts of any luxury hotel.
The welcome from Bob is great with lots of effort and conversation on what to do and see all around the area.
It is a good location if you wish to do day trips up and down the north east coast of Tassie with highlights being Binalong Bay (try Moresco for a sunset dinner) and Kate's Berry Farm.
The Ironhouse Brewery is also close by.

Stayed here for 2 nights a week or so ago..........and wow what a lovely, hospitable, comfortable quiet place to stay. The homestead is very clean and rooms well appointed with a comfy bed, beautiful ensuite and great shower.

And on top of that is Bob the owner.......what a lovely, chatty, warm person who provided invaluable info on the surrounding area and places of interest to visit.

Only a short drive to St.Helens, Bay of Fires and several other marvellous locations, just ask Bob he'll let you know!

We spent two nights at 4 mile creek and stayed in the upstairs room. The room is spacious and has a private balcony with views of the sea and a large walk-in power shower in the en-suite. The overall decor of the property is furnished to a high standard. Bob owns and runs the B&B and is an excellent host. He is very knowledgeable about the area, recommended restaurants and places to visit, and he provided a very tasty breakfast! We used our stay as a base for exploring Columbus Falls, St Helens, the Bay of Fires and Bicheno. I would be happy to recommend Bob and 4 Mile Creek to anyone!
