Concept of this place is great. I stayed here a few years ago but sadly in need of an update and maintenance. Stayed two nights cottage 11. Floorboards didn’t just creek totally groaned, wake everyone if getting up in middle of night. Tracks to cottages really require a 4wd. Cleaning left a bit to be desired...empty stubbies in “garden” below, saucepan full of eggshells and you need to be reed thin to get into shower can’t have room door and shower door open at same time. Swimming pool had broken tiles, a broken underwater light cable floating around and broken banana lounge ...little things but for $250 per night these count. On the plus side the views are amazing and if you like golf a gorgeous course just across the road. The Jingellic Pub is also just the other side of The Murray.…
Fabulous five days at Upper Murray Cottages. The accommodation is comfortable and clean with everything you need. Beautiful views and fabulous wildlife from Kangaroos to tiny birds that entertained us every morning. Brilliant swimming pools that the kids enjoyed and a good DVD library that made up for the poor TV reception. Excellent 4G in the area kept everyone entertained at night! Fabulous dog friendly locations can be hard to Find but this is a real gem.
A beautiful place for the six of us to chill, rest and play. Enjoyed exercise, pool, kangaroos, birds, quiet surrounds and a meal at the local pub. Our cottage comfortably housed six adults. Friendly staff.
We have been visiting here for almost 10 years and would absolutely recommend a visit. Great for couples as well as families. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a beautiful, quiet place to go. This is the destination for you.
Two couples stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage with a fantastic view. The cabin had everything you needed, including a great wood fire for the cold nights. Brian delivered a delicious homecooked meal by Robyn right on time in the evening. The slow cooked lamb shanks were incredible. The views from our verandah were breathtaking and it was lovely to see the countryside bouncing back from the bushfires. Already booked again for the Corryong festival in April. Do yourselves a favour and head to the Upper Murray for break.
