We had a great stay at Wakiti Creek Resort between Christmas and new year. There was plenty for our kids to do with the park, games room, pool, splash park and the bike track.
It was very hot when we stayed 40+ each day so it was great to have the pool to cool off in and the air conditioned camp kitchen to retreat to for lunch.
There was great extra entertainment for the kids such as camp games on the lawn and an outdoor movie.
The amenities were well looked after however I would mention that due to the time we stayed, the site was very busy and not everyone mopped the shower after themselves so by the end of the day the toilet and shower blocks were a filthy and I found myself mopping them all out before I could have a shower or shower the kids.

All in all we had a great stay, Wakiti creek resort is great value for money and we are already planning when we can fit in another stay!

We camped and had family in a Cabin also. Its a quiet spot and a really surprisingly large camp ground. Plenty of room between each site. Phone Reception was almost non existent so as long as you're happy being off the grid its perfect! We seemed to be camping in the only spot that had no trees providing shade which made for some very hot days. The pools and splash park were great for the kids to cool off, could do with a good scrub on the tiles though around the edges. The river is not suitable for swimming, we tried fishing for Carp for fun for the kids but caught nothing. The staff are fantastic and so friendly, the kiosk is well stocked with basic supplies and closest town is Tongala(17kms) which has an IGA and bakery. Overall it was a lovely trip, but if we do return in summer I'll be asking for a shaded spot to camp! 😊

Wakiti Creek Resort is beautiful with so much to do! We stayed one night in a pet friendly cabin, which was clean, comfortable & well appointed. A sunset walk along the creek was a perfect end to the day. Wakiti Creek has heated swimming pools, archery, tennis, basketball as well as bikes to hire and bush walking tracks. A long drive down gravel and dirt roads to get there but well worth it! Be mindful of extremely limited phone signal.

I stayed at Wakiti Creek for the second time in April school holidays. (I had stayed at Wakiti Creek for the first time a couple of years ago.) Both of our visits were wonderful. The pet friendly cabins have a small fenced area in front which is great for helping to keep pets, (or even small children if you have them) safely confined. This year we stayed in cabin 3 which had a wonderful view overlooking the red gums surrounding Wakiti Creek. The cabin was clean. The mattresses, even on the bunk beds, were new, clean and very comfortable. Our dog had a great time playing in the creek.

Comfortable cabin with everything we needed to relax and unwind. The surroundings were a real getaway from it all. There is no mobile reception out here, and the road in is gravel for about 5kms, so be prepared with food etc on your way here. Great if you love to unplug. Plenty here to keep kids amused. Staff were friendly & welcoming.

Very quiet, nice by the river /billabong. On site shop/office. Closest town would be Tongala. We had to leave early because I was unwell.
Grass was green and pool looked good. A little cleaning up around the buildings may be in order, especially spiders, I dont like them at all.

Stayed at Wakiti Creek from ANZAC day for 5 nights. Great, peaceful spot. Disappointed that it’s not maintained well because shower!toilet blocks has not been cleaned once while we were there even tho the cleaning record said it was cleaned on the 26th. And looking back on that record the previous time it was dated was 5 days before! Amenities should be cleaned at least once or twice a day especially now when COVID is around.
The camp kitchen was cleaned by us. Coffee machine faulty and reported. Very dusty on top. Floors were never mopped. BBQ plates were cleaned once but the rest of bbq area wasn’t. The sink at bbq were packed with leaves, the benchtop wasn’t washed down, there was a hair clip someone left that was not removed by the cleaners. The fat buckets we’re overflowing with flies swarming around it.
It’s a shame that such a beautiful spot are not maintained well.

This place is just perfect to relax with your fur babies and not have a worry in the world a place to sit and listen to the birds couldn't ask anymore from management just fantastic. Walking trails along the broken Creek and walking along the Goulburn River is just magical. Echuca just up the road but this place is just perfect if you just want to relax swim bike ride you name it. Looking forward to our next stay

Fantastic place for kids. There were five families and we stayed in cabins. Bonus that we could bring our dogs.
Cabins were clean and comfortable with everything you could want. Outside could do with a little tlc.
Bbq area was convenient between our cabins but could have been cleaner.
We hired a fire pit and wood which were both delivered to our cabin. Good wood that made our nights roasting marshmallows with the kids great fun.
Staff were friendly and made our stay a good one
We will definitely be back

From the time we checked it, we loved the property. The staff were fantastic.
We stayed in a cabin with our 4 kids and it was brilliant. Clean and spacious and all the beds were comfortable and the bonus was its own BBQ. It overlooked the bush-land which made you feel like you were in the middle of nowhere. The kids had an absolute ball on their bikes on the bush tracks. They also went and built a cubby in the bush. The pool facilities were amazing and even had a little splash zone which was great. There was plenty for the kids to do - archery, basketball, tennis, games room etc. You could do as much or as little as you liked.
Our 4 kids love their technology so once they figured out there was no internet (unless you went up near the office) - I wondered how they would go at night. When we left, we asked them what they thought and they said it was their favourite place they have been to and actually enjoyed off their devices and back to being kids and being a family. So thank you, we will be back :)
