We loved our stay at Tara Guest House. Julian and Brom were fantastic hosts. Every morning they made an incredible breakfast on a new theme that we ate at their big table together with other guest from all over the world. The house is a small art exhibition in itself and we had a nice room upstairs with en-suite bathroom....

Julian and Brom are the best hosts we have ever met. After our 9 week trip in Australia we spent here our last three days. The best choice. Many people already wrote about the incredible breakfast you get. There is definetely nothing to add. The variety and the fresh food is just amazing. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere together...

We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Sydney for our first trip to Australia from London. Julian met us, during a freak typhoon, at the airport and introduced us en route to the neighbourhood. The room was airy, spacious and, like the rest of the house, sported many original artworks. Breakfasts were full and delicious. Brom and...

The Tara B&B was everything we hoped it would be -- big, cozy rooms, comfortable beds, amazing bathroom (loved the big stand-alone tub!), outstanding breakfasts and the best hosts ever. So interesting talking with Julian and Brom and they really made us feel at home. This is such a sweet place to stay that I hope we make it back...

I stumbled across "Tara" whilst looking for a place to stay close to the Enmore Theatre. I was attracted to the old building and the interior appeared comfortable and full of interesting things. I thought then these two, Julian and Brom, must be an interesting pair. I was not disappointed and was captivated by their stories and warmed by their...

We really enjoyed our stay at Tara. It's not easy to find good accommodation in the inner west, so we decided to try a guest house. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the room was very attractive, the location was great, and we loved the breakfast. See you again!

I chose the Tara B+B because it had received highest rating on Trip Advisor - and I was not one bit disappointed. Julian and Brom have created a warm and personal atmosphere in their guest house that makes you really feel welcome. It begins with a personal pick up from the airport, which is specifically for overseas travellers a big...

Well, if you want a "cookie cutter" condo or hotel…..this AIN'T the place for you! Julian picked us up promptly at SYD (and dropped us off also 4 days later) and helped us get settled in at Tara. Room was large and, tho a little funky, had all the comforts of home (a 135 year old one to boot). Had...

Coming from the hotel industry but had chosen Tara on my short visit in Sydney. Completely amazed by the incredible hosts who provided me an extraordinary B&B experience better than any 5 star hotel could offer, if you are looking for something special and unique rather than the ordinary. It is a welcoming home, a gallery with little surprises at...

A beautifully restored house off funky Enmore Road provided me with the perfect place to stay for a short trip. There is nothing better than a familiar face at the airport, a comfortable bed to rest a tired head and a huge breakfast waiting for you on awakening. I love that Julian and Brom have clearly taken time and great...
