I stayed for one night in early Sept 2009. My room at the front of the house was spacious and the bed very comfortable. I woke early as the smell of breakfast wafted through the eclectic period house, and what a fine breakfast it was. Just right to send a traveller on his way. I would say that the busy...

Pete an I stayed for five nights and didn't want to leave. Julian and Bron (and their animals) made us feel so very welcome and they went out of their way to help us make the most of our time in Sydney. Bron even took me to the local farmers' market and for a bit of a tour around the...

This guesthouse is very new but it won't be long until it is rated #1 in Sydney. The hosts and house are delightful in every way. The home is artfully decorated and the conversation is always smart. I can still taste the amazing breakfasts which were a performance in gourmet perfection from freshly made orange juice, warm bread from the...

My husband and I are avid travelers and prefer B&Bs for most of our accommodation. We rarely write reviews but felt compelled to as this was our best B&B experience thus far. The hosts (Julian & Brom) were gracious and accommodating from the very beginning. Despite our late night arrival, they personally picked us up from the airport. Shortly thereafter,...

I can enjoy a bit of friendly chat about: food, wine, travel, whatever, or be left entirely alone if I feel like it. The hosts’ aesthetic appreciation of houses and interiors is only outdone by their hospitable warmth. Paula Morrow, Writer.

It was impossible, at short notice, to find somwhere for my friends and me to stay. We were very warmly welcomed by the owners. A glass of red or sherry was on offer and our room was superb - especially for the price. We loved the dogs, the company and the smells from the kitchen. An indulgent lie-in was certainly...

This was my first trip to Sydney, I was welcomed in and was spoilt rotten by the B&B owners. It was a fun, relaxing wkend. The food was amazing, its a very homey feeling there and you have everything you could need. Not far to down town Sydney. Best weekend of my life!

The hosts are wonderful engaging peolpe with an exquiste eye for art. The rooms are large(huge) and inviting with space for all you could possibly bring. The site is around the corner from some of the best restaraunts in Sydney and transport is 100m walk away. We will surley be staying here again.

My parents stayed at Tara and loved it. We live around the corner in a tiny house - just too small for guests, so it was the perfect solution for us. Mum adored Ollie the dog and Dad and Julian found they both shared a great enthusiasm for all things Chinese. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a home...
