Julian and Brom were our introduction to Australia -- and a lovely introduction it was. We really felt taken care of, from the moment Julian picked us up at the airport. Getting to talk with them and with their other guests over breakfast was an important part of the experience, one to be savored (with the wonderful food and coffee!)....

Brom and Julian have created a wonderful, art-filled oasis in the middle of the best city in the world. They are gracious and welcoming hosts that make you feel like you're the only guest in the world. Breakfast of fruits, homemade granola and eggs and bacon make you want to linger and spend time in their company with Oscar the...

Amazing house, but even more amazing hosts. Interesting people who have seen their share of the world. The breakfast will take you through the day, and so do Brom's suggestions for visits and excursions. We followed them every day and we saw fascinating parts of the city. And the drive from and to the airport was also very handy. Wonderful...

We stayed 2 nights and had a very pleasant experience. Julian and Brom are wonderful hosts. They made the best homemade breakfast that I have ever had. They were really sweet with our wild two year old. You can tell they have a passion for what they do. They are very genuine. Book with them! You won't regret it.

Beautiful place to stay. Lovely hosts and a gorgeous resident dog Oscar. The most amazing breakfast and pick ups from the airport with two night stay. The wonderful hosts go beyond all expectations. Great proximity to the Enmore theatre. Hope to revisit!

Wonderful experience for my 94 year old mother and myself. Lovely to be met at the airport and taken to house. Very friendly host and hostess and dog. Generous, tasty, interesting breakfast. Especially enjoyed the selection of fresh fruits and fresh squeezed juice. Close to bus and train enabled us to use public transport for our whole stay where we...

I couldn't stay anywhere else! Apart from being very convenient to all Sydney has to offer with transport more or less on the doorstep, continually meeting wonderful people at breakfast from all over the world is wonderful, listening to their stories and often meeting people I've met on previous visits. The welcome is second to none as Julian and Brom...

There are so many reasons to stay at Tara Guest House--airport/cruise ship pick up and drop off, delicious breakfasts, wonderful location, help planning daily activities, surrounding restaurants, beautiful house and furnishings, outstanding host and hostess (plus Oscar--the dog!), and accessibility to transportation. Our five-night stay before our cruise was perfect and we loved every minute of it. Julian and Brom...

We highly recommend Tara guest house. It is a beautifully decorated large home, with very lovely and diverse art. If you take offense from seeing nude paintings, go to a convent instead! 😉We stayed five nights, and our hearts, brains and souls were honored and touched by Brom and Julian's generosity; there breakfasts are amazing , a display of freshness...
