I stayed at the Mill House for two days to attend my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. As a professional registrar of marriages, in another part of the country, I have worked at over 500 similar events in the past 5 years and have had the experience of seeing every level of hotel wedding coordination. I have to say that the...

What an absolute gem and amazing wedding venue! We had our wedding at The Mill House on Thursday August 4th 2016, including the ceremony, and I just can't thank them enough for everything: it was perfect from start to finish! It is a real lovely family-run hotel who care about every client! Mark and Kim (the owners) are truly hands...

The rooms and en suites were all attractive, clean and comfortable. The food both at dinner and breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were welcoming and helpful with nothing too much trouble. The scones for cream tea were the best I've had!

Enjoyed afternoon tea here to celebrate aunt and uncle's 80th birthdays. Lovely, discreet and friendly service. Champagne, sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, four types of cake...all beautifully prepared and presented. Would definitely recommend and am sure we will return.

After meeting Emma in May 2015, with the welcome/service we received and have ever since, we just knew it was a unique and perfect venue for our Big Day!!! We were not disappointed and not only did it live up to expectations, it went far beyond them. We were truly privileged to hold our wedding here, blessed with the weather,...

The Mill House hosted my son & daughter-in-law's wedding reception and it was perfect from start to finish. The food and service were excellent, and the staff were extremely helpful throughout the weekend. Rooms were attractively decorated, and the bathrooms were stocked with a wide range of complimentary tolietries. All topped off with an excellent cooked breakfast the next day....

Wouldn't normally have stayed here on my trip to Reading, but the usual hotel was fully booked. I'm very glad it was as the Mill House Hotel is a lovely place and I found it to be much more relaxing than a big chain hotel. An old house full of charm, good food and a comfortable bed. I would happily...
