Glamping at Cockatoo Island is fantastic. The venue is very family friendly and an excellent location. Access to Darling Harbour and Circular Quay is easy with a ferry every 20 minutes during the day and every hour late at night. Be sure to leave a morning or afternoon to explore the island and enjoy the rich history Cockatoo Island offers....

Stayed for a dad/son getaway in a 2 man glamping tent. This is our third time staying on cockatoo island as we live close by on the river and it's a easy ferry in. The tent set up was luxury, new beds, soft sheets, towels and the toiletries a really nice touch. We ordered the BBQ pack which was convenient...

Went for one night with my 4 year old boy for a mini adventure, we only live just across the water but it felt like a expedition. Facilities were great, admittedly it was very quiet when we were there with only a handful of the tents occupied which made it very easy for us, i can imagine its a different...

We took up the glamping package with an extra night. Absolutely wonderful and "easy" trip. Definitely recommend and will travel there again. Staff and crew were excellent. Need to take more food with you for the non-event days

The camping was great, we did a mini glamping experience. Lovely staff, great island and a kooky experience. Tents, toiletries and sheets etc all great. Showers and toilets are great. Be prepared for an early wake-up from the wildlife and/or air & sea traffic. Only snag is that, being as you're on an island, the food options could be a...

We spent 3 nights glamping for NYE and it was awesome, great atmosphere, very well organized and the staff were super friendly and very helpful. The view from our tents was stunning. Can't wait to go back!

Seriously poor planning. All venues ran out of champagne by 10:30 PM on New Year's Eve. Food for sale was overpriced and all portions were very small, even by Australian standards. Not recommended. Won't return.

An event our party of 15 (including family from abroad) have been looking forward to for months has quickly become an absolute debacle, only likely to be made worthwhile by Sydney's famed New Years Eve Fireworks display. On arrival, we were shown to our camping spot, a seagull nesting spot literally drenched in foul smelling seagull guano liberally sprinkled over...

Our family of 4 recently camped on the island. The setting is beautiful, the island is fascinating, but the facilities are pretty basic given that you are paying top dollar. For the money I would have expected a thicker mattress or even a stretcher bed (which are hardly expensive). Unfortunately our weekend was spoiled as the Trust also allowed the...
