We had the Coach House suite which is lovely and light. Huge room with sofa, dining table all nicely set for breakfast. Off that room the bedroom area. Bed is very very comfortable. Shower is fabulous I could have stayed in it all day! Lovely soft towels. Owner is very friendly and serves a really hearty breakfast. They do have...

This is a lovely and small B&B (two rooms) with very nice hosts. The breakfast was fantastic and the suite was very spacious and well-appointed. It was a very short walk to the cliffs and/or down to the beach. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Spent one very relaxing night in the luxury suite which was roomy, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Having your own front door added to the feel of having rented a flat rather than a room at a b&b. The bathroom facilities were great and the enormous shower with various jets was a surprise find. The bed could not have been more...

After 11 days on a transatlantic crossing unwinding here was pure heaven. Had the downstairs suite and enjoyed the room after an inside cabin trip. Great place to start our day trips to Canterbury and London. Dover area was also very interesting. We will stay there again if we visit Dover and England again.

Visited with my 83 year old mum and also my daughter. Mum had the downstairs suite, a very pretty bedroom, ensuite and sitting room. I shared a generous upstairs queen double ensuite with my daughter. Everything one might need was thoughtfully provided including quality complimentary toiletries. Gerald the host offered to accompany me on a morning walk with three well...

This is long overdue, but I had to come back here and share some pictures and leave a review. To start off they have online booking which is always a plus. The B&B is within easy reach of Dover but is in a much more calmer and more beautiful location.Tina and Gerald were very welcoming, their manner so informal and...

My wife and I stayed at Strathmore in October of this year (2014) during our walk along the cliffs to Deal. If you are looking for accommodation at St Margare'ts Bay at Cliff, we strongly recommend Strathmore as a B&B of the highest quality. Tina and Gerald were wonderful hosts who gave us good advice on local restaurants and the...

My husband and I stayed here overnight while visiting family in Deal and were blown away by the quality of the accommodation, sleep quality (we slept through all night undisturbed) and the wonderful breakfast. It gets five stars in our book and is the best B&B we have found in the Dover/Deal area. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in Strathmore for one night when going to a wedding in the village. Some friends of ours were staying in the other room so we saw both rooms and both were lovely. Our room upstairs had an amazing view over distant countryside, the room downstairs is huge and has an en-suite breakfast room with a soft and lots...

We received a very warm welcome from Tina when we arrived for a two night stay in the Old Coach House at Strathmore. She took time to show us a map of the area and explain various walks we could do and places to eat. Strathmore is ideally situated for visiting Dover Castle in one direction and Walmer and Deal...
