Stayed over the Easter weekend. We were in a beautifully appointed room - The Rutland. Had two children with us and the room had a sofa bed with a king size double. Breakfast was excellent even though a little slow (but we weren't in a hurry). We also had a family evening meal in the bar. Food was nicely presented...

As long as you realise that this is a pub with rooms not a 5 star hotel you won't be disappointed. For example there is no check in desk with a receptionist in a fancy uniform, there is instead a warm welcome at the bar and a helpful young lady who escorted us to our room. The room was clean,...

We stayed one night fora friends party. We had a drink but ate elsewhere. The pub was busy and cheerful. Our room had character and was comfortable and warm with lovely fluffy towels and a window you can open. I had to leave early, and was made a bacon sandwich to take for my journey ! My husband stayed and...

Stayed here for 1 night as a couple & brought our 2 labradors. The owners were really friendly, so were the locals & everyone made a fuss of the dogs. We ate in the bar in the evening & breakfast the next morning. The menu and the food was fabulous & reasonably priced. Room was inexpensive & comfortable but basic....

What a fantastic place to stay. The accommodation was of a great standard. Really enjoyed the food on offer to me and it was excellent value for money. However, what made this place excel was the personnel. So very friendly and welcoming. They really made my stay a fantastic one. I'll certainly be coming back when I'm in the area.

Well don't know where to start. We live In Braunston, how lucky are we. Matt the landlord did the most superb dinner for 36 people, the actual last meal served on the Titanic. Luckily we lived to tell everyone what fantastic food he served us. Great service as always. Just a great night with the locals and newcomers. Thank you.

We visited the Old Plough on New Years eve for there special themed menu. They had the last 5 courses from 1st class on the Titanic on the night it sank. The food was amazing...some of the best food I had ever had. It started with canapés and oysters, then the best homemade chicken consommé I have ever tasted. Followed...

Unfortunately we only stayed one night at The Old Plough. We were given Room 1, which had a super kingsize bed and a very comfortable settee that also doubled as a sofa bed if required, the bedroom was extremely clean and perfectly comfortable, we certainly slept well. There is a good size car park and a first class restaurant. The...
