Stayed in annexe in Nov. best views of any b&b I have stayed in, unique location actually on the roaches, you can start your walk from the garden. Accommodation is excellent, clean spacious and private 4star plus. Owners are professional and friendly (gave us lift to pub). Fab cakes and breakfast too, great value for money.

Booked Hen Cloud as we were intending to do a walk on the Roaches and we were pleasantly suprised. We were given the annexe which was clean and spacious. The hosts were courteous and friendly and prepared an amazingly good breakfast for us. If walking in this part of England we will definitely stay here again. Visited in April 2012

We booked the annex for a 2 nite stay taking our dogs with us, which we asked about on booking, we were told yes dogs welcome but when we arrived were told the dogs could only go on the rug not in the bed room not on sofas, all or most dogs have the run of the home when at...

We stayed at Hen Cloud for two nights for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The room was gorgeous, spotlessly clean and comfortable with a fabulous view of the Roaches. A delicious breakfast is served in the conservatory which also has a fantastic view over the peaks. The owners are lovely, friendly and helpful and made our stay all...

What a lovely place. Lorna and Nick are really welcoming and friendly. We had a cosy room with cup-cakes in our mini fridge to welcome us, a comfy bed and a view of Hen Cloud. At breakfast we tasted the freshest eggs ever - laid that morning by their own hens. There's fantastic walking on the Roaches nearby and a...

They went out of their way to make us very welcome and Lorna lavished us with helpings of her exquisite cupcakes! The surroundings are magical with the Roaches very close by. We were only there a couple of days and didn't...

This was our first time staying here and we loved it. We know the area well so we knew where the walks were and also the nearby pub. We stayed for 3 nights in the self catering apartment and we wished that we could have stayed longer. Lorna bakes lovely cakes!! We will be back again soon.

As I wanted to take advantage of the snowy weather to do some winter walking I booked at short notice and the owner was very obliging. After explaining I would not be travelling by car, but using the bus and then walking, the owner offered to pick me up from Leek. When I declined this kind offer I was given...
