I've just returned from a 3 night stay in this beautiful cottage with a group of friends. Lorna was an exceptional host, the homemade scones on arrival was a loved touch, and the cottage was spotless. It's set in absolutely breathtaking surroundings. I will definitely be recommending hen cloud cottage!

6 of my friends and I stayed in the separate Annexe cottage for a cheeky weekend away. It was beautiful! The owner is lovely and we got to enjoy the real English countryside and sit in a hot-tub while it snowed! Will definitely be booking this cottage again.

Up a bumpy track (bit worrying in a hired car). Beautiful location - moors and crags all around. Room was a good size and had everything I could imagine wanting - don't read the reviews if you'd like a nice surprise on arrival :) Owners friendly and down to earth, also interesting to chat to. Breakfast was excellent. Not a...

Great place in the perfect location Nice touch with cakes, milk and drink making facilities on arrival. Owners gave us a lift to the local and picked us up later, welcomed additional customer service on Britains wettest and windiest night. Roaches and lots of moorland right on your doorstep Accommodation brilliant, comfy and warm. Will be back.

Hen Cloud is an idyllic location of peace and tranquility. Lorna was extremely welcoming and a perfect hostess, even spoiling me with cakes/crumble on my arrival/return. I cannot fault the views and the beautiful sounds of the owls at night is the only noises you can hear in such a ancient location. Breakfast was superbly cooked and kept me filled...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hen Cloud Cottage in April for two nights and though we got very unlucky with the weather (fog and rain so think we couldn't see a step in front of us) we got VERY lucky staying at Hen Cloud Cottage. We stayed in the annex and I can well imagine going back there for...

Just arrived home after spending a relaxing week courtesy of Lorna and Nick in the delightful cottage adjacent to their Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Lorna was helpful and informative without being obtrusive at all. We felt she was there if we needed anything and she gave good advice on local knowledge. She told us about the Peregrine Falcons nearby and...

We arrived to a friendly welcome and were made to feel very relaxed. Hen cloud is surrounded with great views of countryside, cattle and wildlife and it was a very quiet, relaxing place to be. Lorna made us feel very welcome and was very friendly. We enjoyed a nice walk around Hen Cloud and were lucky enough to enjoy a...
