Stayed at the lodge a few days. Very decent roads to get there (no 4x4 nessesary ) Rooms clean, staff friendly and helpful with most of them understanding English. Wifi not always working. Right on the beach with scuba diving and fishing trips available from the lodge.

We camped at Zavora in one of the Casitas with private kitchen, toilet and shower for just under 3 weeks. The road leading to the lodge from the highway is not too bad and is accessible without the need of a 4x4. The campsites are nice and big with the private facilities that are basic and nothing fancy but acceptable....

Our initial impression of Zavora was not a favourable one, but to be honest we can be a bit pretentious and once we got over ourselves the good far outweighed the "bad" and when our last day rolled on I wished we could've stayed longer. The good: Very affordable , given the price we pay we couldn't be too stuck...

We rented a house for 8 people, and really liked the activities you can do there : snorkeling, diving, horseback riding ... The visibility is good and the dives allow to see different things (wrecks, sharks, turtles ...). The beach is desert and wonderful ! You can do self-catering, but the restaurant is also good and cheap (150MZN for fish...

Our Dive Club visited Zavora Lodge from 19 to 24 March 2016. From a couple of months ago when making the reservation to the last day upon departing Zavora Lodge, the staff made it all so easy and went out of their way to accomodate us. The staff were very friendly and helpfull, Zavora is a well run resort and...

There's some stuff to be liked here. A prime beachfront location, a wide variety of accomodation types, a possibility to snorkel close to the beach, and not least a restaurant serving mostly quite excellent food. Problem is, Zavora pretty much change management with the same frequency as you and I change underwear. They come and go, and invariably seem to...

We stayed for two nights in one of the self-catering beach front houses on top of the dunes. The house had beautiful views, but itself needs some work, Kitchen was not well stocked with enough serving dishes and table and chairs were rusted. Bathroom did not have hot water as promised and needed renovating too. Staff were friendly and food...

Well this place is worth a call if you are driving by, it has a few activities, like horse riding, snorkeling, whale watching, suba diving & it has a nice beach. The place is a little run down & in need of some work the bungalows are just ok , they are building some newer ones up on the top...

We stayed at Zavora Lodge (Saily house) for three nights. What a pleasant surprise! Great staff, beautiful views of the ocean and amazing ocean safari. We saw a lot of whales, dolphins and even a hammer shark. Thanks Zavora Lodge!
