We booked in here for a couple of nights and we're given a room in the block above the main lodge building. The room was small, mosquito ridden and hot. The fan and plug were hanging by their wires. There were no curtains in the bathroom over the plain glass window but the shower didn't work anyway. We checked out...

We arrived at the campsite after an extremely long day on the road looking forward to putting our feet up. But oh were we in for a surprise. The reception is up on the dune with a driveway only wide enough for on vehicle and signs asking you not to park there. No indication for new visitors that the campsite...

Dear Doneb Thank you very much for the lovely feedback you posted on your experience at Zavora Lodge. Beautiful beach and the Casita stand sizes are good. Unfortunately there were insufficient waterflow for shower and toilet usage. Limited ice was provided due to faulty machines in peak season "December". Electricty was not sufficient to use your own ice machine as well. Service at the lodge was very slow. Waiters/barman were not properly trained to take orders and some...

Stayed at the lodge a few days. Very decent roads to get there (no 4x4 nessesary ) Rooms clean, staff friendly and helpful with most of them understanding English. Wifi not always working. Right on the beach with scuba diving and fishing trips available from the lodge.

We camped at Zavora in one of the Casitas with private kitchen, toilet and shower for just under 3 weeks. The road leading to the lodge from the highway is not too bad and is accessible without the need of a 4x4. The campsites are nice and big with the private facilities that are basic and nothing fancy but acceptable....

Our initial impression of Zavora was not a favourable one, but to be honest we can be a bit pretentious and once we got over ourselves the good far outweighed the "bad" and when our last day rolled on I wished we could've stayed longer. The good: Very affordable , given the price we pay we couldn't be too stuck...

We rented a house for 8 people, and really liked the activities you can do there : snorkeling, diving, horseback riding ... The visibility is good and the dives allow to see different things (wrecks, sharks, turtles ...). The beach is desert and wonderful ! You can do self-catering, but the restaurant is also good and cheap (150MZN for fish...
