I understand that the town is small, the places to stay are limited and this is a very quaint motel. The themed rooms were a nice touch, I give them an "A" for effort in that dept. but... I would gladly give up the decorations (we stayed in the "Farm" room) for a nice mattress and some crisp clean sheets....

No black out curtains so as soon as the sun comes up, you are too. I didn't take off my shoes, I even slept in them. Stained towels and bedspread. Tub was dirty, dead bugs around the sink. Was supposed to have Wifi, but couldn't connect. Never again. Yuck.

We reserved two rooms online with no problems. We arrived earlier than the 2pm check in and had no problems getting our rooms a little early. Both rooms were "rustic" and very clean. This is not 5 star lodging but it is cheap and clean. The owner is very friendly as well as helpful so all in all we would...

My flight was delayed 5 hours so I came in very late. They had the room open, lights on, just the right temperature setting. My golf themed room was a pleasant touch. My trip turned out to be absolutely great after all.

There were 5 of us that stayed here for a zombie run nearby. This is a motel that has a theme to each of the rooms. I stayed in the " cowboy room". I found the place to be charming and clean. There was a medicinal smell, but it felt that was from the cleaner that used, so at least...

I've never written a Hotel review before but I felt so strongly about my recent stay at this disgusting, filthy expensive hotel that I carried the business card all the way home with me as a reminder to let this be known. We paid $118 for a smoke filled, filthy, tacky room at the Chateau Lodge. Oregon is a very...

Booked online with no problem, check in was a breeze and the room was quite cute, we had the garden room. We didn't need the AC, heat worked great, had a microwave, fridge, coffee pot and hair dryer which you usually don't fine in a small motel like that. Bathroom was a little small but it got the job done,...

My wife and I stayed at the Chateau Lodge with a few friends the weekend of September 20-22. We booked online and had no problems checking in when we got there (they actually let our friends take our keys since we were getting there later on). Room seemed well maintained - it is an older roadside motel, so you can't...

If you just want a place the sleep with a nearby place for dinner, this place is fine for the night. Bed was comfortable enough (and I'm picky). A/C is a wall unit, which limits air flow. Bathroom is small. Nice HD TV and free internet. Great steakhouse across the street! Like I said, if all you're looking for is...

Hotel room was decorated very cute (Golf Room) but the room smelled musty and the bed was very uncomfortable. Check in was fine. Booked room on-line with ease. They gave us coupon to the restaurant across the street-Blackhawk Steak Pit which was excellent.
