Would like to rate 41/2. Plenty of parking, great bar in which you can eat amongst the memorabilia, food excellent. Restaurant, a refurbished GWR restaurant car, outstanding. Staff so friendly. Stayed in room across the entrance to the car park good, with good sized bathroom/wc. Room needs ventilation, as a little mouldy in window area. Inn does not do breakfast,...

To celebrate my husbands birthday and a trip on the orient express being outside my budget, I booked us a table for lunch here and it did not disappoint! Food was delicious! Large portions meant we didn't have room for dessert but don't worry- we'll be back.

We booked this overnight trip through Wowcher for just £29 as a little treat. We had the most amazing time with a wonderful landlady. The food was outstanding & I can thoroughly recommend the lemon tart & croissant & butter pudding. We spent some time chatting to the landlady, she is loud & bubbly & doing a totally amazing job...

We stayed here on a Friday night via a Groupon deal. We were not sure what to expect as reviews were mixed, but for what it cost we thought what the heck and as it turned out it was ok. There was an initial mix up with our room, which when shown to me had not been refreshed from the...

Went to this venue without a booking, pleasantly surprised at the standard of service and food. We ate in the bar but had plenty of room to ourselves. We ordered Sunday Roast of beef each. Besides potatoes, roast and new, we had 5 other veg with our beef. This was tender and tasty. All of this for £9.95, what a...
