I had stayed in Suer 8 a few times several years ago so I thought they would be okay just not as luxurious as or have as many perks as Best Western, Comfort Inn, or Holiday Inn Express. Which is where we normally would have stayed. We had a family emergency, so it was slim pickings for a Hotel as most were booked already for a Saturday night. It was $108 for the night in the King bedroom. For the price I guess now a days you get what you pay for as that is considered reasonably cheap. I would have gladly paid another $50 for a cleaner more updated room. The bed itself was okay as far as comfort but there were small, stained spots on the sheets which didn't make me feel clean. There was an ever so slight musty odor in the room. The shower had a broken floor making it harder to take a shower comfortably. The tv was tiny maybe 19" and you had to power it on and off by physically getting up to touch it. Remote only worked for changing the channels and volume. The screen was pixilated/blurry looking on all the channels. They had a nice mini fridge and the sink counter was nice as well. They offered waffles, raisin brand, or frosted flakes cereal for breakfast along with Apple and Orange juice. Staff was nice and curtious.

Very quiet little spot just off the freeway. Bed was very comfortable after 8 hours on the road. Low occupancy due to limited summer travelers. King room is just right size, and clean. Fresh, hot coffee in the morning was good. We travel with our dog, so we always appreciate Super 8 welcoming them. Limited "dining" options in the immediate area, but we knew that in advance.

We have a crew in the area working. Easy check in and check outs. Good communication and ease of changing dates of stay if needed. Sends paperwork as needed for our company promptly as well. Great pricing.

While it is pet friendly, this Super 8 does not do the brand justice. $75/night plus $10/dog/night (reasonable) you’d expect a clean hotel. It appears that it’s been painted recently, but it needs a serious deep clean on every square inch. No breakfast of any kind, only black coffee and plain black tea. The location is directly off the highway with a Burger King, Subway and Dairy Queen within a few hundred yards. Environment is industrial.

Very convenient location since I was on my way home from a delivery job. Great parking if you’re driving a truck and rooms were very clean. Good shower pressure on first floor and nestled in a quiet area where a person can get a good nights’ rest

The odor in hallway makes its way into room. Obviously an ongoing as evidenced by the glade plugin in the room. 5 kernels of corn remained behind my door the whole stay even though they came into room daily for “cleaning”.

Super 8 Okawville IL doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside, however, it's very clean, quiet, and staffed by kind and highly competent people. Club Exit 41, a small bar and grill within easy walking distance, was an added plus. I broke up two long, hard days of driving with a stop here, and I liked it so much I stayed here again on the return journey. For what it is - a small rural motel near a major interstate - it is absolutely top-notch. Highly recommended.

Stay far away, this place is nasty! I wouldn't think of staying here again. I would sleep in my car before staying here. Save yourself the grief go on to MT. Vernon or go back to Belleville for nice rooms. Didn't try to eat the breakfast it wasn't appealing after the rooms.

Everything at Mt Vernon was full and this was the next stop. Will most likely become my go to stop along this route from Cincinnati to mid Missouri. Clean quite rooms and good service. Decent crowd but not over full.
