I have been to a b&b in New Orleans, in Maine, and this is my third stay in a b&b. Having had this luxurious stay at Bishop's Hall I am now forever jaded. Every nook and cranny and corner of the home is a feast for the eyes. I felt like I was walking through and living inside a "House...

We could have asked for a better host, breakfast, or more beautiful accommodations. Special attention is paid to every detail. Our room was a treasure and the bed incredibly comfortable. We will definitely be back.

This is by far the best bed and breakfast I have stayed in. There's no comparison. Charles made my mother and me feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Every room is exquisitely decorated but also comfortable. We stayed in the largest suite and loved sitting in front of the fireplace. We also enjoyed sitting in the music room...

Full Disclosure - I am not one who seeks out B&Bs, I prefer the anonymity of a hotel. I'd heard about Bishop's Hall while on business in Oak Park throughout the year and I finally looked it up. I hesitated, I really did, and then, I just stepped out of hotel zone and booked. I do not want to leave....

Simply the best B & B experience ever. Our 3 night stay was perfect and i can not overstate this. The attention to detail is amazing, the welcome warm and lasting as said in so many ways in other reviews. Chuck and staff add to the already elegant style of the place. As in another review, being treated as "royalty"...

Bishops Hall is stunningly beautiful. We stayed in the larger suite and didn't want to leave! The seating area by the fireplace, steam shower and four poster bed were all luxurious and beautifully appointed. Charles was a lovely host and breakfast was delicious. This was one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we've ever stayed anywhere.

We simply loved our stay here in this beautiful grand home. Charles, the owner, treated us like old friends, making us feel so very warmly welcomed the moment we arrived. His exquisite decor was impeccable, elegant without fussiness. The many personal touches around the house really added to the feeling of a warm home. We agreed we'd love to be...

We have stayed on Hotels, Inns and B&Bs for 40 years all over the world and you cannot get better than Bishops Hall (well apart from a far more expensive Relais chateau in France or similar!) Charles' experience with hotels shows and this B&B is far and away the best we have ever stayed in - anywhere - so if...

This is the stuff of legends. A veritable heritage site that once served as the home of Orthodox Metropolitans. A landmark in its own right in a neighborhood made famous by Frank Lloyd Wright, not to mention Ernest Hemingway! We, my wife and I, got there for the Fourth of July experience but even the Parade faded by comparison. She...

We had a perfect five day stay at Bishops Hall B & B. It is elegance personified. The most beautiful decor and refined ambiance one could desire...lovely antique furniture, paintings and porcelains. Every room was perfect. Charles is the most gracious host and has thought of everything to make his guests comfortable...small snacks & fresh flowers in the rooms, delicious...
