Our two-night stay in Deluxe Cabin 1 was wonderful - fantastic birdlife and 180-degree view through river red gums to the lake from both the balcony and inside. The compact 2BR cabin had everything we needed. The whole park is well maintained with an excellent camp kitchen. The attached outdoor seating area in the sun over the lake and the large fire pit are nice extras. The couple managing the park for 2 months were welcoming and friendly. Urana itself is a small town with heaps of civic pride as shown by the excellent historical installations around town and the public facilities around the lake. Well worth a visit, far from the madding crowd. One slight downside was the fairly steady flow of grain trucks along the Federation Highway (aka The Grain Route).

Fantastically clean and tidy caravan park next to Urana Dam, with a walking / cycle track into town or around the golf course along the lake nature trail. Bird aviary nearby with a wide variety of birds - Major Mitchell Cockatoos, various pigeons, budgerigars and several types of local Parrots. Amenities have sunscreen, toiletries, tissues and even bath mats for the guests. Cute camp kitchen too. The managers are so sweet and helpful. What a find with beautiful sunsets over the water an extra bonus!

We had a pleasant stay at this very pretty, grassy and tidy park...and it's dog friendly. The amenities are spotless. Sites are large, (none had slabs). The park is situated right next to the lake. At $18 a night for a powered site it was a park we will come back to.

Great place, would have been 5 star if managers were reasonable and pleasant, but the female manager is very difficult to get along with. Prices are obviously negotiable as we paid near double the advertised price. They tried to charge us triple! Not welcoming to kids. We were told about scones on arrival, however manager obviously chooses who gets them and doesnt. Amenities are very well maintained but heavily policed by management. We heard multiple stories from others staying having bad experiences with the female manager. Location is perfect, and lake is perfect for skiing and swimming. We will return, cautiously though.

We stayed 2 nights. If you are in before 3 pm, you may be offered scones, which were very nice. Lady manager was friendly and suggested a trip out to Lockhart and Boree Crk, which was a great trip. Clean amenities, with camp kitchen with TV (too cold when we were there), bbqs, Laundry. Next to lake for fishing or watersking. Walk track with fitness stations.

We were recommended by an old guy we met to go the this park on our travels and we are so glad we did. We were greeted with a friendly smile, good advice and free scones. The area was well grassed and green, the amenities block is immaculate, the camp kitchen even had TV and the staff host regular happy hours.
It is a good base to see the surrounding towns of the Riverina or just relax with great fishing, a round of golf or simply read a book in any of the shades spots by the lake.

We have stayed in the cabins at the Urana Aquatic Caravan Park several times over the last decade. It s a great place to stay on the edge of the lake. The cabins are excellent and John and Toni the managers could not be more welcoming. Urana has a friendly pub and club about five minutes level walk away from the park. Highly recommended.

Fabulous place for some R & R. Beautiful setting. Owners are wonderful - hostess with the mostest. Home made scones for arrivals, hot nibbles each night for happy hour and clean windscreens (courtesy of John) for departures! Facilities are extremely clean and kept tidy. Will definitely be back!
