I have never heard of Nauvoo before. Quaint little Mormon town. It is where Joseph Smith brought the Mormons and was eventually killed here. Their family cemetery is near the river. The Hotel Nauvoo was built as a private home in the 1800's. They have eight rooms upstairs. The hotel is not handicap accessible. When making the reservations, they will...

I stayed at the Hotel Nauvoo from October 14-18th. Although our room was small it was clean and comfortable. It's location is in the center of town and very convenient. The staff of the hotel were all helpful and friendly. We definitely will stay here again when we return to Nauvoo.

One of the cleanest motels I have ever stayed in - and by no means an exaggeration. I like that it had a window in front and back to allow for plenty of sunlight. The bed was comfortable and adorned with a really nice comforter. The shower pressure was decent, not great. A cozy, clean, comfortable room for just under...

Motel Nauvoo is a wonderful place to stay! My wife and I were first timers to Nauvoo and selected this cozy motel in lieu of Hotel Nauvoo and I'm glad we did! We found this motel to be exceptionally clean and well maintained. The rooms are bright and cheery, and within walking distance of all sites in town. We had...

Best buffet we have eaten at. Not the typical buffet style food. If you like blueberry muffins, these are the best. The food is always fresh, and the service is always great. Anytime we know somebody is going to Nauvoo we recommend they visit here to eat.

We only had one night here but it was very comfortable. We had three adults and a three year old. We have a small cot for the little one but our room was three queens in two separate rooms. It been updated so that was nice. It's a nice bit of history. The only issue for some might be the...

My family of 5 stayed in the suite, which has a king sized bed and a queen sized bed plus sleeper sofa. There was a small kitchen, a large bathroom and a decent living room. There was plenty of towels and shampoo for five. It was clean. It wasn't eloquent. It was a nice places to stay. Pros: free wifi....

The room for two was clean and cozy. Curiously, in spite of tight hallways, the housekeeping staff started banging on doors, including ours with a "do not disturb" sign, as early as 8:30am. This Hotel is in a great location for everything Nauvoo.

Could not have had a better place. We have been to Nauvoo several times and this is the best and most affordable of all. You can feel the history and spirit of the area, the staff is fantastic and food at the hotel and across the street at their other cafe is the best in town. Thank you Hotel Nauvoo!!!

On our visit to historical Nauvoo, we chose to stay at the Motel Nauvoo rather than the larger Hotel Nauvoo a short distance up the street because we felt it was quieter and less crowded with easier access to our car when leaving early--very early--in the morning. So we made reservations for a large room at the motel and for...
