When booking I knew we only needed one night on a Wednesday no less and booked with fingers crossed hoping the consistently average reviews along with the better than the usual rate for surrounding hotels would pay off. It did! Free breakfast had all the usual stuff, actually more than I expected. This hotel was not stellar but good enough.

Chose property since claimed 6am breakfast start on a Saturday. Many miles to make so at breakfast room 6:01am. Chairs still inverted on tables, no food in fridge. Waffle maker cold. Coffee & condiments only stuff available. Asked the "Kiosk Rep" ( no human at desk). He said 10 minutes. We chose to wait. I even assured (erroneously) to fellow guests waiting for breakfast that we had 10 minjtea to wait. Despite being told via kiosk rep upon check in that an employee was staying on property, I doubt that since no one set up breakfast when scheduled. We had to leave. Kiosk rep could not compensate us in any way. They were still setting up breakfast at 6:50am when we left. I've been a Choice Hotels regular for decades. The few times I've had issues, staff has been empowered to make it right. Not here! A big disappointment.

We arrived in time to check in and walk across the parking lot to Applebee’s. Everything was ok for a place to stay on a business travel route except the mattress. It was in need of replacement. Not comfy because it was flat in middle and very very hard as in rolling to the middle flattened type of hard. I did mention to front desk clerk when we checked out. She was apologetic and typed in a note while I was standing there to report the condition. Very polite. But if you stay in near future you might want to ask about it. This was room #121. A king room. But other than that it was the expected. The room was clean. I read reports of cigarette smoke on property but that should only be mostly on 2nd floor (to right from front desk) on Highway side where those rooms were NOT labeled non-smoking. So my assumption was smoking was allowed in them. I walk halls and stairs for about 30 minutes after traveling and that is why I know that. The smell was strong but confined to that area. Our hall and room smelled nice. We did encounter a room deposit to cover any damage from pets ( we had none). And smoking( we don’t smoke). But that $50 was of course only held for that night. Our bag breakfast was a jimmy dean sausage egg cheese croissant which was tasty, a fruit nutra bar -no drinks in bag ( we got coffee). But do yourself a big favor and heat it up in the microwave before you leave if you are on the go. It’s frozen. All things Considered it was fine enough. I salute all hotels for their efforts to make travelers safe during this time of COVID-19. It is appreciated.

Had no trouble finding the Quality Inn from the I-57 freeway. Check-in easy and lady at desk was very pleasant & helpful. Room was clean, bed comfy, breakfast was typical hotel breakfast and we slept well because it was quiet. Would stay here again. Not overly expensive.

Meghan at the front desk was welcoming ~ perfect combination of friendly & efficient, as was cheerful, smiling Jamie at checkout the next morning. I was pleased to find my room, a king single, fresh & clean. Fridge/micro & in-room coffee. Fixtures appeared brand new, including toilet. Generous supply of towels. Slept well on very comfortable bed w/nice linens & lots of fat, fluffy pillows. Restaurants nearby including walking distance to Applebees. Easily accessible bedside outlets for charging electronics. Free wifi w/ample signal strength to ck email, weather & routing for the rest of my trip, stream Netflix etc. The only issue I encountered was the electric card entry for one of the back doors wasn't functional, which I didn't discover till I had pushed a luggage cart out to my vehicle, loaded it & discovered I couldn't get back in. Annoyed with myself, I assumed I had inadvertently demagnetized the key so I left my belongings unattended, walked back up to the lobby to get re-keyed & was told that door sticks but the door on the other side works, try that one. Um, ok but parking on that side was tight & would have entailed jumping the curb with the already loaded cart to access. I managed to prop the dysfunctional door slightly ajar & attempted to maneuver said overloaded luggage cart through it. Rather challenging in the wind & cold after a 600 mile day, holding the door open with one arm & dragging the cart through with the other. Next morning I opted to push the cart back down the long interior hallway in order to utilize the front door in the lobby. I didn't partake, but standard continental was available & there was a Cracker Barrel nearby for a "proper" breakfast should you want a more robust start to your day. There are both upscale & low end hotels in the vicinity, but this mid-range property was priced right & perfect for a quick overnight.

We stayed at four hotels on our way to and from Florida and this was the best of the four. Very clean and quiet. Hot breakfast with waffles, eggs and sausage. Friendly helpful staff. We could not get the tv to work so we called the desk and they moved us down two doors to a room where the tv worked.

. . . . Otherwise, our room was fine. It's equipped with all the regular stuff expected at Comfort. They also have a pool - I didn't check it out but, there was no exercise area. Breakfast had sausage and eggs along with the regular eats as well.
About that Kiosk: they are a put-off to customers. A hotel or restaurant are all about customer service, not interacting with someone in a foreign country. Next thing we'll be getting our rooms through Amazon . . . Hmmm I may be on to something here.

Staff was very nice on phone when we booked. Our room clean, towels pretty paper thin but water in sink, toilet & tub was yellow-brown. I reported it to front desk. Said they would have it checked out next day. They absolutely didn’t care. They did offer another room . We had traveled 12 hours were exhausted and had already unpacked before we turned on water. They said they had no other complaints which is odd when water is probably on same lines. I wish I could show picture here ( I took one) because it was disgusting! I know things happen but my chief complaint is staff acted liked they just didn’t care. We come through here a lot but WILL NOT stay at this one again.

We stayed here on a trip to St Louis. The hotel is right off the interstate and very easy to find. There are plenty of restaurants and gas stations in the area. Our room was pretty basic and the towels were pretty thin. The breakfast was actually better than I would have expected. We were really just looking for an inexpensive place to sleep and stop for a few hours and this Quality Inn did just that.

When we checked into our room it was very warm in there. I went and checked what setting it was on, & I found the temperature was on heat & 75*. I cranked the air up, and being it was dinner time... we went next door to Applebee's for supper. When we came back to the room it had cooled off nicely, but thats when I looked around and noticed how dirty the room really was! The carpet was filthy, the tub was dirty, the towels were dingy, and really rough, and the curtain sheers were shredded. The mattress was hard, but luckily it was clean so could sleep in for the night! We won't be staying here again!
