I booked on booking.com and was a little surprised when they held an additional $50 for our room cost when checking in for (incidentals) no reasonable explanation for it. Also, if using a debt card they hold the amount +$50 until you check out. When you check out they charge for the night and release the hold which can take up to 5 days to be released for use. Our original room assignment was not clean. No maid service had been there. The desk moved us to another room without hesitation. The comment card was already filled out with all smiley faces when we entered. Not the case so we changed it to reflect the truth. All I all it is what it is a place to rest and that’s all. Desk worker was polite and attentive.

CHowUDoin, Thank you for taking the time to rate our hotel and to explain your experience. Regarding the incidental , I sincerely apologize if this was not mentioned during your reservation. Our policy has been that due to an increasing number of customers who weren't able to return the keys , damaged some of our things in the room. With that, we created a protocol that makes the customers pay. And,If your room was not cleaned according to these standards, I hope you will accept our sincerest apologies for the oversight. Our housekeeping staff is held to a very high standard and we appreciate that you've informed us of a need to address housekeeping policies and procedures. Please keep us in mind for your next stay in the area.

I was satisfied with my stay and would stay here again. Most hotel beds are too firm for me, but the bed was just right and I slept comfortably without any tossing and turning. The internet was slow, but the hotel was booked up so increased traffic would do that. It was fine in the morning.

Overall, my impression was things felt cheap and dirty, The hallway and parking lots felt dirty. The carpeting badly needs to be replaced in the hallway. The hotel had a musty smoky smell. The free breakfast was as cheap as they could make it, no eggs, no meat. Coffee wasn’t brewed, it came instant out of a push button, no granola for yogurt. There was a cigarette butt on the floor. The only positive thing was the bathroom looked recently remodeled. I needed an extra bag for ice, and their virtual front lobby person live streamed from Philippines had no idea what I was talking about. Overall I was unimpressed.

This Super 8 was a very basic hotel. A lot of truckers and workmen seemed to be the majority of clientele. Although they charged us a hefty pet fee they said we were not allowed to go across the street for a meal unless we took our dog with us. That was a house rule which we were not happy about since this was billed as a pet hotel and would never have booked if we would have been told that ahead of time. The room was dark, the bedding was dirty and we removed the blanket and spread and used blankets we had in the car. They did include a refrigerator and coffee maker. The price was half of the Drury Inn rate but in hindsight I would have preferred to pay more and have a nicer place next time.

Terrible experience. Beds where hard, room was outdated and musty smelling. Hotel was outdated. There was a fist imprint in the bathroom door where someone had punched it. The only thing good about this room was there was hot water to take a shower.

Steve Wynn wouldn't even step inside this hotel that he owns! I would recommend that he concentrate on the quality of the properties he owns and not the quantity. The outside of the property looked well kept, but the inside of our room should have been gutted and needed to be remodeled. I'm sorry I didn't look at the room before I paid. The room stunk, smelled like mold, the carpet was gross, they even used carpeting in lieu of wood for the baseboards.The bathroom toilet could barely flush down one square of toilet paper, I was afraid to use it. Caulking lines around floor and toilet must have been about an inch thick and dirty and moldy. There was a "DRY-IT" plastic moisture collector bag handing from the closet rack (mounted on the wall) that resembled a catheter urine collection bag, I felt so "dirty" in this room. Kids were running up and down the hall, the guy above us sounded like he was moving furniture. I couldn't wait to get out in the morning. They left a comment card to fill out, one question is how do you perceive our PRICE to VALUE relationship? I'd say the price of the room should have been $50 a night. On a couple positive notes, our check in woman was really. nice and (at least) the towels and sheets were clean.

After reading some negative reviews, I would have to say I was worried and almost cancelled our reservations. They said there was only a kiosk to check in & no one to help. There was very friendly & helpful woman behind the desk. Room was in great shape, flat screen tv with lots of channels. Breakfast had hot waffles, not toaster ones. Checking out the clerk was not there but a person popped up on the kiosk and called him to the desk. Good value for the price. Better than the last Super 8 in another state. There was also a card on the desk to fill out & ask if we found anything that needed their attention.

Outside of hotel looked good. Lobby and breakfast area nice. Desk clerk very nice. Room was terrible. Dirty, dusty, poop on outside of toilet, entire room smelled of cheap deodorant spray. Will not choose again.
