Drury Inns are a quality stay at any location. This location is the best of the best. A long, tiring day of travel just evaporated once we got there. We enjoyed the complimentary meal and drinks, then relaxed in a very clean and comfortable room. Each and every employee was genuinely friendly. Violy put a smile on our face with her friendly conversation while making sure everything was tip top with our breakfast. This location will be our first choice when traveling through the area again.

We stayed here last weekend and really enjoyed our visit. We had stayed at two different hotels in the area last year and didn't have the best experience. We saw the reviews for this hotel were consistently high, so, even though we aren't Drury rewards members, decided to give it a try. It was wonderful. The evening kick back was perfect for us. We had a long drive in and it was super to have a buffet dinner and drinks available without leaving the hotel. The manager (RR) was very outgoing and stopped by all the tables to see how everyone was doing and chipping right in with clean up! Bonus (!) it and the breakfast are both included in the rate. The room was clean and spacious. By nighttime, it was quiet and comfortable. We are now Drury Inn reward members!

From the minute we entered the well decorated lobby until we checked out we were seen as guests & friends instead of customers. The room was an oversize king, very clean & comfortable. The free Breakfast Bar had a large selection of everyone's favorite foods. Waffles, toast, pastries, yogurt, Oatmeal, cereal, biscuits and gravy, breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage, milk, coffee, juice and soda available to guests. The evening "Sidekicks" offered nachos and cheese, hotdogs, mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, gravy, meatballs in gravy, & salad. Coffee & soda offered as well. They had adult beverages for guests over 21. Each guest over 21 was offered 2 tickets for drinks. The hotel also has free popcorn every evening. The Breakfast Bar, Sidekicks & popcorn are provided free of charge to registered guests. That alone is a great value. We were there in December and the lobby was very festive with holiday decor. There was also a swimming pool and hot tub available for guests to use, along with a small area office with desk and computer.

The staff at this hotel was beyond excellent. When we needed a rollaway bed, instead of giving us a bed, this team upgraded our room for free so all of our children had a more comfortable bed. After we came in 20 minutes late to kickback from a loved one’s visitation, they kept their dining area and buffet open to our family. This grace was a bright light in a difficult time for our family. So thankful to have such a caring staff at this hotel!

The Drury was the last hotel of our Great Lakes Adventure. Great way to end our journey! We had a large room on the top floor. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were black out shades on the windows, and a continuous fan option on the air conditioner. We had a rest-filled night. The price for staying at the Drury may seem high. If you factor in two dinners and two full breakfasts, it is a bargain. And both meals were exceptional.

We like to stay at hotels that have suites with separate living areas. We paid a little more because the hotel had a higher rating than others in the area. We found out it was well worth the extra cost. The front desk staff was very friendly. They gave us information about the nightly reception and the morning breakfast buffet. We were very happy with the spacious living room. The bedroom was far enough away from the hallway that we didn't hear any noise all night long. The nightly reception provided enough food choices that we didn't need to go out for dinner. The breakfast buffet was also above average. The dining area was large and had ample seating. It was well worth the money spent.

Quick overnight stay at Drury Inn in Mt Vernon. Very nice impressive 7 story building within walking distance of Panera, McAllisters and Steak N Shake. Gas station and Starbucks across the street. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was outstanding with hot fresh eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits n gravy, waffles, coffee, juice, cereals, muffins. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

We had numerous friends and family stay for my daughters wedding at A pocket Full of Sunshine. I heard only positives from everyone. Rooms were quiet - the bathroom in our king room was great - walk in large shower. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great and welcoming perfect hotel. My room was upgraded to a beautiful suite and the reception and breakfast were great. Our bed, bedding, and pillows were very comfortable. The room climate was easy to control to a comfortable setting even though the living room was separate from the bedroom. This will be our go to place on our same trip.

Oh no! The Drury Inn in Mt Vernon, IL is slipping. We love Drury's 5:30 kickback, so this is difficult to write. Our room and the hallways were not fresh and clean, and the windows in the dining area were dirty. One of two elevators was out of service. Also, it would be so nice if they had a lower floor for pet-free guests, not the 7th floor. We've stayed at Drurys where the 2nd floor was pet-free and we appreciated that.

Yes, all Drury Hotels are pet friendly. We just have a 35+ Tax pet cleaning fee per night and allow up to two dogs, or cats, in the room at a time up to a total of 80 lbs combined.
