I arrived very late after a long travel day and the parking lot was nearly full so I was relieved when they said they had a room! And it was quite a bit less expensive than other nights of my trip. Staff was very nice and prompt. It was a relief to find they had coffee and tea in the lobby even late night. I was given a handicapped accessible room on the first floor which was convenient and quite large. Room is dimly lit, even with all the lights on. Nice to have microwave and fridge, and TV is large with lots of options. Walls seem pretty thin. I could hear doors slamming and a man clearing his throat in another room. Room was very clean, though there was no shampoo left next to the conditioner and lotion. Probably just an oversight and I didn’t bother to go to front desk. Overall a great stay.

First time at this hotel. Warm reception. Room clean, bed comfortable, and all other accommodations found in working order. We are Marriott Bonvoy members, have stayed at many locations and were not dissatisfied with this stay in any way. Located conveniently short rocks toss from I-57 and many other convenient stores to get your day going.

I needed a quick stop and there are a bunch of hotels in this area, but wanted a good hotel on quick notice. This was definitely that. I have had to do a lot of hotel living lately and sometimes there are just those little niceties that are worth the money- the staff, breakfast, quiet rooms, comfortable beds sheets and pillows. This succeeded in all accounts. I do know the pool was closed down which did not affect me but based on previous reviews maybe they are fixing it. But otherwise would recommend

We made an online reservation for a handicap accessible room months prior to our stay. Upon arrival when I asked the clerk to confirm that we were getting a handicap accessible room, he said there was a problem. He said yes we did reserve a handicap accessible room, but that the hotel had sold out for that night, and they did not have an accessible room for us. He did not know how or why the mixup happened. He put us in a regular room. A week later, I filed a complaint on the Marriott web site. A Marriott manager responded to the complaint saying that my preferences on my profile did not state accessible room. I then responded to his email stating that I had indeed reserved an accessible room and that the clerk on duty acknowledged that I had reserved an accessible room. My email to him stated such and asked him to contact the clerk on duty that night to confirm. He said he would do so. A week later with no follow up from him, I again emailed asking him to confirm the facts with the clerk on duty that night. I heard nothing back from him. So apparently, he has no interest in performing basic and simple customer service. I am surprised at Marriott because I thought they had a better reputation than that. My wife had a very difficult time in the standard room because the toilet in a standard room is so low that it is extremely difficult for her to get off the toilet. If you need an accessible room, or if want good customer service, beware.

Thank you for your recent feedback. I very much apologize for the inconvenience this caused during your stay. In looking back to this reservation, there were no indications this room should have been booked for a handicap room. I understand how frustrating this is to arrive and find that what you requested had not been noted. I can see that the reservation was made off property, which means by an agent not affiliated with our particular property. As a guest makes a request, we note the reservation as well as try and place that particular reservation in accessible room right then to assure we do not double book that type of room. If the off-site agent does not note the reservation to be accessible and the Bonvoy guest has not selected an accessible room within your profile, the staff on property have no way of knowing there is this need once we receive the reservation. Again, we very much apologize for the inconvenience and difficulty this caused you and your wife and of course we want to assure we take care of all guests and all requests. Again, I personally want to apologize for your inconvenience while a guest at our property.

My husband & our children have stayed here multiple times because our daughters have gymnastics competitions near by & this is our go to play to stay because of the wonderful staff & clean environment but this last stay was disappointing. To start gentleman at the desk when we checked in was extremely rude, but everyone has bad days so we ignored it but then the air didn’t work in the room & we were told that they were completely booked so we couldn’t switch rooms & there wasn’t anyone there able to even come look at & I was told that since it’s November we will be fine without a working air conditioner ( we were not) it was extremely humid & stuffy & by the middle of the night we were all miserable including my 4mo old baby, we checked out extremely early just to get out of that room. I called & spoke with a woman who claimed to be a manager & was told that we would have a room comped to us to use another time she was supposed to send an email to me stating that but I never received any email & after calling back a few times I gave up after I was given the run around. I really think this was just an isolated incident since like I stated earlier we have always had such a great experience here, I hope by leaving this review the management team will maybe hire a handyman or have a repair man on call at least to prevent this situation from happening to anyone else because it was miserable (even in November) 😬🥵

The rooms are clean. The bed was decently comfortable. There are a bit rough of edges and little stains from wear and tear. The towels are very nice and thick. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are spacious with a fridge and microwave. The tiny one cup coffee maker is a bit useless. This would be a good place to stay if you have no need for a workout room. The gym or workout room is overall just plain bad. The equipment is old. I spent 10 minutes trying to get the elliptical to work. The elliptical could only be used as a way to run in place without any resistance. I couldn't get the treadmill to work, but it had a message to press the reset button. Once that was found, it worked. It is one with a short belt. I am 5ft 6in and I found it to short. It does not have a pause button. If you stop, it ends and it will take a couple of minutes to allow you to start again. During COVID, only 2 people are permitted in the workout room at a time, and you will have to have the front desk staff let you in. The front desk staff brought me a towel. There is not any water, towels, or disinfecting wipes to clean a machine after you sweat on it. You will likely sweat since the heat is set at 74 and it feels much warmer in the room. The machines have individual tvs, but none are hooked up. There is a large TV that is positioned in front of the treadmill. The non-operational tvs on each machine prevent you from seeing the screen of the large TV.

On a long cross country road trip during Covid. We get it that hotels are unable to offer all their normal services, including hot bfst. But the other 5 Fairfield Inns we have visited have Still managed to provide very nice grab and go bfst that included yoghurt, cereal, fresh fruit and coffee. This place stuck a disgusting sugary pastry and a juice drink in a bag and called it a day.

Typically, we have a danish or muffins, oranges or bananas, granola bar and an orange juice in our breakfast options. Obviously this property is using the COVID 19 pandemic to save loads of money. I have stayed in a number of Marriott properties during the pandemic and this is the first to offer ABSOLUTELY NO coffee in the morning. They put out bags with prepackaged muffins, and tell you that if you wanted coffee, you should have made it in your room. I have stayed here several times in the past, but never again, not with a Hampton Inn right next door, and. Holiday Inn across the street. The only good thing to say is that the hotel is close to a MacDonald’s that actually serves coffee, even in the pandemic.

I booked this hotel because it was the only one with a pool, hot tub and breakfast. Upon arriving, there was a sign at the desk that the pool was closed, it DID NOT say anything about the pool being closed on the website. Then when we went to our room, our keys would not work, I tried both keys multiple times, the door was flashing red and yellow, finally after several attempts and jiggling the key in the lock, we got in. When we went to dinner, I stopped at the desk and said something about our keys not working right, the guy behind the the desk said “this happens all the time, even to our regulars, I may have to come up and let you in.” He re-keyed the keys, but that did not help. Lastly, our shower would not drain, luckily there was only 2 of us and we only stayed one night.

I walked into this hotel and had to promptly walk out for some air. It smelled like a bottle each of bleach and windex had spilled in the main check-in area. It was a little better up In the rooms but only marginally. First thing I wanted upon arrival to my room was some ice. No ice on floor 2. Called the front desk and was told ice was only on floors 1 and 3 only. Schlepped it up to 3 and, you guessed it, that ice machine was not working, leaving one ice machine for the whole hotel. Next I tried to offload my perishables into the mini fridge, only to find it barely cool. Husband asked front desk and was told there was a dial in the fridge to make it cooler. There was no such dial. We even took the whole thing out if it’s cubbyhole to look on the back of the unit and still couldn’t find one. I’m not betting on a better day tomorrow. I expect to have to eat my complimentary breakfast off a napkin, as they’ll probably be out of paper plates and silverware. Thank goodness we’re only here for one night.
