First off: the traveler photos on here are NOT accurate but the “management photos” are VERY accurate, at least for my room. The room was very clean & looked like most of it had been recently updated (new granite, toilet & shower & floor tile)& It had a frig with a tiny freezer compartment, microwave, coffee maker, iron & board, 2 small soaps, shampoo & body lotion. The sheets & bath towels were good. The only negatives were the ac didn’t get quite as cold as I prefer for sleeping & the shower water pressure was very low, but that’s minor. They have a sign posted that under IL law, they couldn’t serve breakfast that is usually otherwise included in the price (covid) but The ice machine in the breakfast room does work. The lady who checked me in & the man at checkout were nice. Seemed like a nice area to spend the night.

Stayed here after a long day's drive. Checked in at 11:00 pm with no trouble. Front desk help was real nice. Room was small but very clean. Had a nice LCD television with good reception. Bathroom had been re-done and was well maintained. Enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning. Not an I-HOP experience, but better than a lot of complimentary breakfasts I've experienced. Basically, a good clean place to stay for a night without breaking the budget. Wouldn't stay here for an extended stay.

Only stayed one night while traveling through on i57. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Convenient to I 57. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was ok. Wifi is not very strong and kept getting disconnected.

This was the worst hotel ever for a handicapped person! Spent one night in July. Checked into the room at night and the young lady told us that we had room 104. Get the TV to work so went to call the front desk to find out why and the phone didn’t work. Walk to the front desk and was told how to work the TV but it didn’t work still. No smoke alarm in the room has been gutted out of the wall. Went to bed anyway TV turned itself on three times in the middle of the night. Got up in the morning and put my handicap mother into the shower and as she was about to sit down, I realized the chair was about to break. She is not overweight. Took her back out of the shower and realized there was a grab bar on the back wall but not on the sidewall so I had to hold her entire 180 pounds. forfeited the shower for that trip and the water wouldn’t drain anyway. Went to the front desk and young man told me that it was the only handicap room and he could do nothing as far as a discount. It would have to go through management. Management was supposed to call me in 2 to 3 days, but I have received no phone calls. worst hotel I have stayed in. Excuses excuses and no return phone calls. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else!

Pay the extra $20 to stay anywhere else. America's Worst Value inn. Follow these steps on how to make it so the AC actually stays on since they set outrageous limits.
Remove cover
Grab the wire in front of the metal grill and the one inside of the copper housing to the right
Put both sensors underneath the control box
Put the cover back on

I have never stayed is such a disgusting place in my life. If it hadn't been pouring down rain I would have gone to different place. Had my 12 lb dog with me and would have been difficult to move.
Room #1 Carpet was filthy went to get in bed pulled back covers and there were tiny bugs in the bed. Went to desk to get different room..
Room #2 Walked in and it smelled like someone had thrown up in it. Pulled back covers and tiny black bugs again. Went back to front desk, Desk clerk walked back to look at rooms. She said they were not bugs but tiny rocks. (Why would there be rocks in a bed if sheets were clean?) Please NOTE: Before we walked back to get yet another room she made the bed back up without changing the sheets.
Room #3 Gave me a room that she said she knew was cleaned that morning. Bed had clean sheets, but clean room is not the best description. Asked if I could get a discount for the inconvenience. She said she would ask manager. By this time it was 10:45 and I had started to bed at 10:00.
Next day when I checked out I asked about discount and they told me they comped the room. Ask for a receipt and they gave me one that showed a 0 -balance. Until I got home and found out they charged the room to my card on the 12th. I stayed on the 9th Called many times and left messages to get it straight, but the NEVER returned call.

I have never stayed in a room that was more rundown and showed gross amounts of negligence on maintenance. See my photos. Mold in shower. Tape on worn out desk chair. Unidentified substances spilled on the door. Large crack in the wall. Missing light fixtures. Perhaps they should just doze it down and start over!

This hotel is TERRIBLE ! They have BED BUGS ! The management team did not respond to my phone calls regarding the BED BUGS ! Do not stay at this hotel ! They emailed me and stated they have no record of me staying at this hotel. That is not true ! I paid cash for the weekend. I woke up with over 20 bed bug bites all over my body. Management has not returned my phone calls !

We arrived in town about 8:30pm on a Thursday night and checked into the hotel without any pre-made reservations. $85 for two queens. Outside wasn't too bad in appearance. There were a few creepy people out walking the halls of the hotel later when we parked to unpack our things. We got to our room and immediately were hesitant because it was pretty dark, dirty, and outdated. We noticed 2 large bugs on the wall right off the bat - both flying insects that we had to kill. Then because of the appearance of the room, I pulled the blankets back and inspected the sheets really well. THERE WERE WORMS IN THE BED!!! Small, little WORMS wiggling on the sheets!!! Later, we identified them to be flea larva!! We also found pupa casings (the shells of the worms.) After seeing this, we immediately picked up our things and left. We went to the front office and told the desk clerk that there was no way we could stay there because of the worms & bugs. She didn't argue and refunded our money. THANK GOD!!! We checked into Comfort Suites down the street. WELL worth it for an extra $50 a night to be in a clean room and get a good night's sleep! Had we not been "paranoid" enough to check the sheets as well as we did, we would have been eaten up while we slept, not to mention, brought FLEAS home in our belongings!! STAY AWAY from this motel!! It is DISGUSTING!!!!
