Booked a room on thurs 13/04/17 for the 15/04/17, arrived there on the 15/04/17 with booking confirmation sheets. Waited 15mins before anyone came to check us in, only to be told hotel was fully booked and we could not have a room. Drove for over 2.5 hours to get there, spent £60.00 in fuel and we where just told "we...

Visited Cennell Hall as was looking for peace and quiet, and a base from which to explore the beautiful border country / dramatic northumbrian castles and coast, and can certainly say that Clennell Hall delivered on all fronts. The fact that the hotel itself is architecturally very striking, set in nicely kept grounds, and run by very welcoming hosts was...

First class weekend. Live music and great social atmosphere. Rooms are worth every penny as is the beer and bar food. Lots of events coming up and they're worth getting to. Doesn't matter whether you're walking, cycling, motorbiking or just passing through.

If your looking for a 5* luxury hotel, this isn't it! But the sign on the door in reception saying 'enter as strangers, leave as friends' has never been more true! We have now visited twice - and plan a number of trips back. The staff are what make this a truly lovely hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and...
