Traveled to the area for a wedding & stayed here for a long weekend as part of group booking.
It was a great time to see family & they served a fairly nice breakfast. & had area we could sit & visit.
The town is just down the road a mile or 2. Only food we had outside of our events was a dominos pizza, so not sure about other restaurants.
The only issue we ran into was we reserved online months in advance, when we checked in they only had a pet friendly room available & yes, it smelled of pets. They said that’s what I reserved, no not my first time to book online, but if I couldn’t take a pet friendly they would charge me to switch to accessibility room. We’ll i turned that down for several reasons - mainly I’m don’t need an accessible room & what if someone really did need. The staff was as courteous as possible but manager was not helpful at all …heard this was a common complaint

I have Asthma and the whole building smells musty. My Asthma was bugging me all night with the strong musty smell. If you’re a light sleeper the noise of the highway will keep you up so I just turn on the fan for the Air conditioner . The place was clean and the people are nice. The shower was a open shower with no curtain to hold in the heat. Otherwise everything else was great.

Nice friendly clean place with hot breakfast and great coffee! Buffalo farm behind the hotel is now raising corn instead of Buffalo due to Covid results we were told. Does take away some of the charm but still a good place to stay. Enjoy

I stayed for 9 nights and enjoyed my stay very much. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean throughout and very quiet even though it is located near the interstate. Breakfasts were ample and had a wide variety of options. I highly recommend this hotel near a great little town!!

As a diamond member with choice hotels. I went to this hotel, after driving all night. Went to check in at 7 am was told by the rep at the desk that I would have to check out at 11 am. And would be charged another 98 to stay another 9 hour. Told him I was a trucker and this was ludicrous. To stay in his hotel for 12 hours I was going to have to pay over 200 dollars for 12 hours of stay. Not even a 5 star hotel. These people have to get real. Stayed at super 8 down the road . Same request for 60 dollars. Will never go to this hotel again. So much for helping people during the Corona episode. Hope people at choice hotels get a chance to read this.

I found it a little weird that at check in, that I was given a sheet of paper that outlined things we were to do. The sheet said that we were to keep safe distance and to wear a mask in the common area at all times. Hard to eat breakfast with a mask on. No one wore a mask that I saw. I know you want to protect your employees, but with the covid emergency declared over in Illinois, it seems not the way to treat there customers.

Terrible checkout procedure. Had to wait 20 minutes to checkout and employees didn’t seem to have a strong understanding of what they’re doing. Shiva and Vami were the name of the employees who could not figure this out.

The front desk staff was fast and efficient. The building and grounds are well maintained. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a desk to use, along with a microwave and refrigerator. Large vehicle parking is available in the lot next to the hotel. Overall, a great place to stay.

This is a great hotel. We stay there 2-3 times a year The rooms are always clean. It is a very quiet hotel even though it is near the highway. The front desk staff is always helpful and friendly. The breakfast is varied and the coffee is fresh. It lives up to its name “Comfort”.

Very nicely appointed and comfortable room on third floor. Loved the couch and coffee table setup. Watched the buffalo from our room window. Room very clean and walk-in shower was great. No wait on the elevator, but no ice machine on 3rd floor. Hot breakfast was good and delicious coffee always available. Very nice outside seating area off breakfast area where buffalo could again be seen. Staff was absolutely excellent!!!
