Enjoyed a wonderfully cosy and quiet long weekend in this well-appointed cottage. Pleasant grounds, a log fire and ample kitchen provided everything we needed. Conveniently located for quick trips into Kiama, Shoalhaven and Kangaroo Valley.
My husband and I stayed for a 2 night break in barn cottage. Lovely setting very secluded but still very close to kangeroo Valley, Berry, and Jarvis bay . Very friendly host, we'll set up for self catering and good quality decor. Thank you chickens for the fresh eggs
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Rosehill Cottage. A beautiful, little historical cottage, with comfortable bed, open fire place, & nice hot shower. Kim & Marty were very helpful even before we arrived, emailing us details of some walks in the area. There were tasty breakfast provisions for our first morning in the cottage. Kangaroo Valley and Berry very close by. We had a great weekend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rosehill Cottage for two nights. The cottage was warm, comfortable, quiet and gorgeous. The bed was firm but comfortable. Complimentary tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter and jam was sufficient to get us started in the morning before we adventured around Kangaroo Valley, Berry and Bomaderry. This is a quiet place in a village, to base your stay and explore the surrounding area. Highly recommended.
We stayed in the barn cottage which was very tastefully decorated. The beds were very good but frankly, we were not made to feel that welcome. We chose the barn as we did not want our young children to disturb the owners. So much for being thoughtful. The thing we could not fathom, as we booked the site on the "arcadia bed and breakfast" site, was why there was no breakfast. We were looking forward to staying at a bed and breakfast after a long trip from Melbourne but when we arrived were asked "have you done your shopping?" Ah.... No. It became clear that although sold as a bed and breakfast this is anything but. We didn't make a fuss but were tremendously disappointed. So don't be fooled this is not a bed and breakfast. The other point to be careful of is there is no internet. The barn we stayed in is too far away. Even jammed into the corner where you can just see the wireless, it was unable to connect for three days. I asked about the internet and was told "it's the clouds" with a mystical wave and a look at the heavens. Seriously? I'm an engineer who has built an international company delivering e-commerce sites in over 25 countries. Never in my life have I been told the internet doesn't work because of the "clouds around here". The garden is gorgeous but clearly Air BNB has arrived and these owners have given up on the bed and breakfast idea. The attitude is here's the keys, don't disturb us. It's a very nice barn, very tastefully decorated, quite well equipped, but it's just a bed; not a bed and breakfast. …
