Nestled amidst scenic views, Jumeirah Mallorca stands out for its sophisticated atmosphere and elegant environment, as guests have noted. While the amenities receive applause for their diversity and luxury, including the spa and pools, the hotel's value is sometimes questioned due to high costs and extra fees. The rooms offer spacious comfort with beautiful vistas, despite occasional wear.
Although its secluded location is part of the charm for many, others may find it a bit remote. Cleanliness and service generally meet high standards, yet some guests report service inconsistencies.

Exceptional hotel and even better service. All employees were on hand to help at any given moment, and always did their upmost.
The hotel itself caters for every exceptional view Port De Sóller has to offer, including the exceptional sunsets. The rooms were well kept, and the maid/turn down service was always well timed and expertly done.
The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had, with the best of everything available. They even catered for my gluten free (coeliac) partner better than anywhere. The pool bar was always reliable, if not extortionately expensive, with exceptional service throughout. There were buzzers by each sunbed which ‘summoned’ a waiter to take your order, or a QR code to a website where you could order directly from. We weren’t much of a fan of the buttons as it felt a little too ‘Us and Them’, but it was nice to know the waiters were always there for us.
We also ate and drank at the Sunset Bar on a couple occasions. The first just for drinks, and the waiter was incredibly attentive and suggested a number of great cocktails. The second night, was less enjoyable but only due to the poorer than usual service. We were left unattended to for a while, almost forgotten about and had to wait a very long time for food. Also, the gluten free options weren’t outlined to us. It seemed to only be our waiter, who was a bit distracted perhaps.
The tasting menu restaurant, El Fanals(?), was top quality food, drink and service, again if not very expensive, but you expect that for this level of quality. Lots of well thought out locally produced dishes, each described to us very well. Only downside was the length of time between each course leading to a very full couple of guests half way through our menu!
Overall, they do everything right for a top notch 5 star hotel and I fully recommend every aspect. Only thing I’d ask for them to review is the pricing of the food and drink because it was another level of expensive - it’s made our return to London seem cheap! €6 for a can of soft drink, €29 for a Caesar salad, €45 for some Iberico Ham, €45 for a glass of champagne, €12 for a milkshake, just to name a few that made me wince…

We booked a last minute weekend to Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel and Spa for my husbands birthday. The holiday was absolutely amazing and surpassed all expectations. We wondered if being a Jumeirah hotel the service would be like that received in Dubai, exceptional. I have to say we were not disappointed.
SERVICE: The service by every single person on the team was excellent, there was not a single person who did not go out of their way to help us. They were all so attentive. If I could name each and every one of the I would.
ARRIVAL: Sara was so welcoming and answered all our questions and we felt very welcomed. Our flight was early and our room was not ready but the resort cater excellently for this. Sylvia noticed us looking lost in the reception area. She immediately came over and asked us if we were ok and how she could help. Having just arrived and waiting for check in we were undecided what to do. Rather than just telling us directions around the hotel and advising what to do, she personally showed us around, eventually guiding us to the spa area, where they had excellent facilities to get changed and start our holiday while waiting for the rooms to get ready. Concierge took our luggage to the spa for us and it was all stored. We could start enjoying the holiday immediately. As soon as our room was ready we were given our keys and our luggage had already been moved from the spa to the room without being asked. ROOM: Very spacious, beautiful decor and unbelievable views. There is no such thing as a bad view from anywhere in this hotel. Excellent amenities and 5* luxury you would expect from the Jumeirah Brand. Having contacted the hotel previously they had a cake ready for my husband in the room.
CHECK OUT: Wasim was fantastic at reception. Despite leaving the hotel at 8.00 pm, we did not feel like we were not on holiday that day. Once again the hotel cater so well, so that you can enjoy all facilities including the spa and pools. We did not feel like we spent the day waiting to board the plane, we actually still felt like we were on holiday.
CONSIERGE TEAM: We loved the whats app service offered. It is so efficient and replies are immediate. We were always greeted with a smile and they were always so patient in answering all questions and also giving additional information to make sure we enjoyed our stay even more.
HOTEL: This hotel is absolutely stunning and the views from everywhere are overwhelming with both mountains, the port and the sea. They have a separate kids pool and an adult infinity pool. Despite not being and Adults only hotel, I would strongly recommend it to couples as it is so well catered for both families and adults separately. The infinity pool was one of the best I have seen and despite going in August more than enough seating. Pool service was excellent by all of the team. Zoe was so lovely, helpful and nothing was too much bother. She was always so cheerful and what really stood out was her initiative in noticing things before being asked, so attentive and considerate. We did not use the family pool area or kids club, so I can not comment on these.
SPA: Exceptional is the only work I can use. The views from the hydropool were out of this world and there were so many rooms in the spa area. You did not need to have a massage to be able to enjoy it. Once again one of the best we have been too (considering we are comparing the the Jumeirah Zabeel Ottoman Spa, the one at Atlantis and Moon Palace Grand Mexico). We were not disappointed and used it everyday.
RESTAURANTS and FOOD: Breakfast was excellent and once again service exceptional, especially from Ritick who was so friendly and offered great advise. We ate at Caproig for my husbands birthday and every single person who came to the table wished him a happy birthday. Charleen went out of her way to make sure we had an excellent celebration, service and attention to detail was brilliant. Food was delicious and good vegetarian choices. The prefect setting for dinner also. The next day we did the tasting menu at El Fanals. The dining experience was beyond brilliant, the food amazing and so well thought out. The service was unbelievable and you could tell they really wanted this to be a full experience and not just about eating dinner. If you are looking to eat dinner at the hotel, half board was good value, the restaurants are not cheap but the food quality is great. Sunset lounge, we did not have time to visit other than pipping in to see the venue. Stunning for evening drinks or a meal.
SHUTTLE SERVICE: The hotel cater excellently for those who do not wish to eat on site or want to try local restaurants. There is a service that runs from the hotel directly to the port through out the day. About every couple of hours during the day and every half an hour in the evening until 11. All the team were not pushy about eating at the hotel which we loved, and even gave suggestions of where to try locally. Great support for local restaurants which is lovely to see. After dinner we explored the port and went for some drinks.
SURROUNDING AREA: Port De Soller is about 40minutes from the airport (taxi approx 60 euros) but well worth the trip, not only for the hotel but the area is beautiful. The port is lovely with so many restaurants and bars, a lovely beach and so many activities. As we were there only two days we stuck to the hotel and the port and did not need a car. If we were there longer I would consider car rental but some roads are narrow. There is free parking just outside the hotel but it was very busy. For a short trip a car did not feel necessary.
Thank you to every member of the Jumeirah Port Soller Team, although I did not get to mention each of you induvidually you surpassed our expectations and made us feel you all cared and made our stay amazing. The hotel is in a stunning location and photos do not do it justice. We would highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to go back.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
I travel to evaluate hotels for magazines and always consider the preferences of the person writing the review. If you want a sense of what I prefer, I usually stay at high-end hotels like Jumeirah, Puento Romane, Waldorf, or Conrad Hotels, Ett Hem Stockholm, Sanders Copenhagen to mention a few. In most cases, my family travels with me, including two children under 12 years old.
You will be impressed with this hotel the moment you arrive. The staff at the hotel is so efficient at handling luggage, looking for tags to identify you, and transferring luggage to your room as soon as possible.
There is a high standard of service in all areas of the hotel, whether it is the restaurants, the pool, the reception, the concierge, or the cleaning staff.
The hotel provides a nice welcome gift with olive oil and chocolate, but most hotels also provide fruit baskets, pastries and a chocolate tray for day two.
(The fact that I review hotels is never disclosed before hand).
However, there are a few things that disappoint.
In addition to the breakfast buffet, there is an extensive al a carte menu available. The first morning the there was a long wait for our order. Since we were the first guests, we had to wait a long time for our orders, but this improved all other days.
Pancakes, french omelettes, avocados, and poached eggs were served. On some days the poched egg was hard boiled and the French omelette was not French. It was thick and over fried. It is not creamy and soft without color as it should be. There was a bit of instability with the cooked breakfast
Cleanliness and turndown service were excellent
Furthermore, we should have booked a room with sea views instead of mountain views, but we made the booking just one day before we arrived

After getting married, the thing my wife and I were looking forward to the most was a relaxing, peaceful, and memorable experience. Unfortunately, we did not get that at Jumeirah Mallorca. We were pleased when first checking in as the environment was unmatched, the views from the dining facilities was incredible & the staff was very nice and helpful. We couldn’t believe our room was upgraded as well. However, the room was a disaster. First, we opened up the closet to hang some of our clothes and unpack, the panel next to door we were opening FELL OFF the frame and onto me. With loose screws and super glue not intact anymore. But, we thought it was a fluke, unlucky and called down to see if they could fix the door as it was early in the day and we would be gone for the next few hours down at the port. We came back in the evening not only with the door not fixed but also to our air conditioning NOT working. We called multiple times and it took several hours for maintenance to come by. When the maintenance came to our room it was later than 2330hr. The gentlemen confirmed our AC was not working, on a hot night, and he would not be able to do anything until the following morning as it was late and the work would be noisy, on top of that my wife and I were tired… and at this point frustrated. First the door, now the air conditioning for what’s suppose to be one of the best hotels, not just in Mallorca but in the world. Just when we thought things couldn’t get worse, they did. After no sleep in a hot room, we left early the next morning to forget our first night experience and went into Sóller. We come back to the room in the after noon after not being there for 5-6 hours. Still, no one came to the room to fix the AC. Once we mentioned it to the front desk for the 3rd or 4th time, someone finally came, however once fixing the AC they left a MESS in our bathroom. Oil from the pipes above the bathroom from the panels they opened up was dripping onto our toilet, floor and sink area. We then call cleaning services to wipe the area, this took a few hours to get taken care of. Which was a few hours we did not enjoy the room or could relax before dinner as we patiently waited for someone to clean the mess we did not make. We were elated to find out that Jumeirah was opening a hotel in Switzerland in 2025, however, after this experience… unsure if my wife and I would take such an expensive chance.

We came to Jumeriah on a short last minute break for five nights at the end of summer and despite booking with short notice we were still accommodated and supported throughout the entirety of the reservation process. Pre check in I was contacted via the hotel concierge requesting information about the guests travelling within my party in order to give the staff a better understanding of how to meet our individual needs and to maximise our comfort throughout the stay. Jumeriah offered to arrange a luxury airport transfer and offered excellent communication both pre, during and post visit.
The Food! To say you are spoilt for choice is quite an understatement. The hotel offers three stunning restaurants, each offering their own flare in either Asian, mediterranean or fine dining cuisine and we thoroughly enjoyed sampling food from both the Sunset Lounge and Cap Roig. The lunch offering at the Adults Only Infinity Pool is a twist on the poolside basics such as Club sandwiches and delicious salads. Separate from this, the hotel provides a selection of complimentary patisserie products and freshly pressed fruit juices/smoothies throughout the day as you sun yourself by the pool. Daniel in particular went above and beyond to meet our needs poolside and we were almost never without ice cold water or snacks.
The breakfast offering really sets this hotel apart from others and meets the needs of all. Both the buffet selection and A La Carte menu was extensive and during the five mornings we were there we sampled a range of sweet and savoury dishes. For coffee and tea lovers the whole hotel has an extensive collection of samples and in particular the coffee served at breakfast (the hotels own roast) really met our expectations. Throughout the entirety of the stay staff around the hotel greeted us by name and were all friendly, polite and eager to help in any way. From restaurant recommendations to a passing smile, the staff are all incredibly professional and welcoming.
My sister and I were fortunate to sample a treatment at the Talise Spa where we had personalised massages with our knowledgeable therapists Veronica & Jharely. Both ladies were very talented and understood our needs immediately. I would highly recommend booking a treatment at the spa if not only to sample these ladies excellent skills. The spa facilities such as the thermal suite were phenomenal and without doubt the cleanest facilities I have ever experienced in a hotel spa.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return to Jumeriah Mallorca.

Let me begin by saying - this is definitely more of a 4 star hotel. There were pros and cons and perhaps the experience is commensurate with price point. We had a sea view room which I hoped would be a good thing but it was a trek to what looked like an off-property condo. Had I understood we would not be in the core part of the hotel and that we would be on the lowest floor (views were average at best) and that there's only 1 golf cart in the hotel to transport guests, I would not have elected to stay here. When we go on vacation, we really want a special experience, so it was a bit of a let down. The family pool was average and service at the pool was average. They claim there is an hourly shuttle into the port in town but it's an SUV, not a shuttle, so it has to make multiple trips in most cases. There are few cabs so you really are at the mercy of the shuttle. Service is spotty at the hotel - for example, they closed the gym and spa for days without any notice. As for positives, the views are incredible - def the best part. The Sunset Lounge was a highlight of the hotel with beautiful views, great food and service. Other than that, I think this is more like a 4 star hotel - if you get a price that you're okay with a 4 star experience, then you will probably have a good experience. If you're paying for what you think is 5 star, just know that you will probably be disappointed. Mallorca is a stunning place though - highly recommend Soller Charters and Chilli Jet Skis.

Dear srose12, My warmest greetings to you! I hope you had a safe trip back home. Thank you for sharing with us all your experience at our property. Each feedback we receive from our guests is important to us and highly taken in consideration. Kindly note we have shared your comments with our entire team. I hope your stay was overall enjoyable, and I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. We endeavored to notify all prospective and current guests about the necessary emergency spa maintenance. To ensure our spa services were uninterrupted, we extended them throughout the entire length of repair. Additionally, I apologize if the accommodations did not meet your expectations or displeased you, given the large structure of our property we always strive to fulfill our guests' preferences flawlessly whenever possible. Regarding transportation, being situated in a remote location can make access to public and private transport challenging. Our transportation service operates under strict licensing and government regulations. Therefore, our shuttle service is the most efficient option for assisting our guests with their transportation needs if they have not arranged for private transport. Thank you for your understanding and patience on this matter. I regret to hear that you were dissatisfied with our service. We are working relentlessly to ensure that our guests receive excellent and seamless care, as this is our usual standard. On the other hand, I am pleased to know you had a great time at our Sunset Lounge, enjoying a satisfactory culinary experience along with the warm sunset. Nevertheless, we are motivated to host you once again and rectify any slip we may have had during your stay. We value all guests who decides to spend their time with us and our only aim is to create memorable and unique experiences through our polished service. If you would like to address any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. It would be our absolute pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing Jumeirah Mallorca! We were recommended this hotel from a client and spent a lot of time reading reviews and really figuring out where we wanted to be in Mallorca. Also, this was a splurge for us (unlike many of their guests who seem to be bathing in money) we usually don’t spend this much on hotels unless it’s a special occasion. But we have stayed at some beautiful hotels before.
We loved the location in Port Sóller. We also really liked the hotel. The service was very good and the rooms look better in person (I thought the photos online made it look rather outdated) we stayed in the Port Jr Suite . We loved this view as you get the mountains and the port. The ocean view has no view at night unlike the mountain/port view)
All the drinks and food at the hotel were very good. The staff by the adult pool was wonderful and the sweet woman who works there we loved.
I like their online concierge, that was helpful although found some responses to be very generic.
The front door staff was all very friendly as well. Everyone spoke wonderful English. We don’t expect it but it was nice.
All and all the hotel was lovely. A few small negatives since you are spending a lot to note:
1) we stayed at all 5 star hotels on our trip. Every hotel did something really sweet to celebrate our honeymoon EXCEPT this one. Other hotels gave us chocolate strawberries, cava, and flowers. We were a bit surprised this hotel doesn’t go above and beyond for special occasions for their guests. Knowing a bottle of cava is literally 3-5 euros there you can easily send one up (and free in the morning at their buffet). We saw roses in our cleaning ladies bag so know they do it for some guests perhaps not us? 2) the last day we were there the weather wasn’t as nice and many guests were enjoying the spa. We would have liked to see a traditional hot tub but there was not. The spa has the only heated pool (and the rest of the pools are freezing) and the temp still wasn’t that warm. The bigger issue the spa was dirty. Towels everywhere weren’t cleaned up and literally an apple core on the ground not cleaned. Just surprising.
All and all we would not change our stay and really enjoyed the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a week-long trip in Mallorca. The hotel is a hike up the mountain but once you are there it is well worth it! There are views from every window in the hotel, absolutely stunning all day long. The hotel is extremely quiet as well, there is alot of street noise once you get outside to the entrance of the hotel, but once inside nestled between the hotel buildings it is calm and quiet. Highly recommend for a couples getaway, I want to note the hotel is open to families but there is a separate pool for adults only. Would be back again hopefully soon!

From the moment our Airport Transfer pulled up outside the Hotel, the levels of service level from each and every staff member, during our 1 week stay, were exemplary and by a distance, the best I have ever experienced, anywhere in the world. This Hotel is set in a spectacular setting with 360 degree views of the sea and mountains, with fabulous feature restaurants overlooking both. The staff made my wife and I feel so special and was a perfect place for our 25th Wedding Anniversary celebrations. From housekeeping staff, pool staff, restaurant staff, concierge & reception staff, we could not fault the levels of service we received. Drinks I thought were slightly overpriced but that is the only slight negative that I can think of and wouldn't stop me from visiting again. I would recommend this Hotel and would definitely return in the future.

Truly a 5-star-experience. Everything was exceptional from the luxurious facilities to sincerely friendly and welcoming staff. If you are looking for a hotel that truly wants to make sure you enjoy the most beautiful part of Mallorca in style and comfort, you must stay here. The restaurants all offer amazing food, but also variety. Could very well be the hotel with the best location in the whole region, highest building on the mountain overlooking the sea and mountains, the sunset bar view during sunset is worth a million pounds.

You do have to pay for a transfer and is not the cheapest but good service. That said, is pretty easy to book a transfer online or get a taxi at the airport - both would be cheaper
The scheduled shuttle works well. Sometimes you will need to wait for it around 5 to 10 minutes, for example when it is full. But if you would like to have a private shuttle - they officially don't offer. However, if you ask they might organize for you. This was the case, when I was there. I found it a bit difficult though to get around. Normally one would expect at this kind of hotel to have a private shuttle available at all times. On the other hand side, they didn't charged it extra - even the private rides.
In non Covid times, they have an excellent buffet which caters for all European and US tastes. Although we do not remember a specific full English breakfast on the menu, the team will cook you anything. Certainly sausage, bacon, tomato and eggs cooked in any style are easily available.
You can always contact the hotel to check.
I hope that helps.
There are more places to choose from in the Port de Soller area.
