Somewhere Lombok was an incredible hotel and one of the nicest places I have ever stayed! It had all the luxuries of a 5-star chain hotel with all the charm and locality of a boutique hotel. The rooms were very large and thoughtfully designed with eco-friendly and local materials. As a huge plus, each room also had its own private plunge pool. The views of the beach were incredible and I didn't want to leave the pool deck where I could watch the waves crash with a delicious drink all day. The daily breakfast was delicious (I recommend the tofu scramble) and the kitchen menu was excellent for dinner as well. Milla, Rahim, Bundi, and Zackie treated us so kindly and provided really great recommendations and service for venturing outside the hotel to watch the sunset, visit nearby beaches for snorkeling/relaxing, and exploring waterfalls. I really hope to go back soon!

We had the most incredible stay at Somewhere Lombok! My friend Laura and I stayed for six nights, and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness by the staff. They truly made our trip special.
Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with coffee, tea, fresh fruit juice, local dishes, and a mini buffet—everything was just perfect. The accommodations were stunning, impeccably clean, and the pool area was a dream to relax in during the day. The view from the hotel was breathtaking, making every moment feel like paradise.
The team at Somewhere Lombok went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. They provided fresh water whenever we needed it, helped us plan activities, and even organized a waterfall tour for us, which was incredibly easy—we just chatted with reception, and they took care of everything. They also offer daily shuttles into town, which made getting around super convenient.
We often had dinner at the hotel, and the food was absolutely delicious—so flavorful and affordable. Every meal felt like a treat.

Great service, friendly staff, delicious food and fantastic location! We stayed there for 3 nights but would have liked to have stayed longer because the dazzling view of the bay is amazing as soon as you enter. You don't experience that often. In addition, the staff is extremely friendly and service-oriented. The hotel has 20 villas that are very tastefully decorated with plenty of space, including a plunge pool on the balcony. The infinity swimming pool is sleek with a view of the bay and has slightly salted water (fortunately no chlorine). It is located somewhat remote on a mountain, but all facilities are top notch and the free shuttle service takes you to Kuta in no time. Highly recommended!

The property was as shown in photos - the dining and pool areas had stunning views you never tired of. The rooms were a bit knocked around for a resort that’s less than a year old but that did not worry us.
Staff were mostly excellent. You could not fault the effort they were making to try and fulfill guest needs.
The main drawback for us was: Location. It is VERY isolated. There are no shops, restaurants or amenities nearby and the shuttle to the nearest town 20 minutes away. It runs 2-3 hours apart – only once in the morning and 4 times in the afternoon. We found the timing awkward for dinner after cocktail hour – very few guests but the schedule is fixed and a charge of $15 one way applies outside of set times. No Grabs in this part of Lombok and tried to book a taxi but they do not cover the resort area.
The road up to the resort is very steep and windy and some parts are unsealed gravelly roads. The beach is right at the bottom and inaccessible from the resort by foot.
While the food in the resort restaurant was very good quality and we enjoyed our meals, it lacked variety for a 10 night stay. The specials did not change during that time and the remote location made it difficult to go to outside restaurants.
No gym but there are a lot of steep steps from the villa to the dining area. It is uncovered and fully exposed to the heat as well so was challenging.
Our package included one yoga session which was off site as there are no activities offered on the premises itself.
Since we were looking for more variety in food and activities, we found the pre paid 10 night stay too long and left after 8 nights. We had initially chosen for a longer stay as flying to Lombok was quite expensive ($600 return from Bali for 2 with luggage) but we might've done better with a shorter stay or split our time with a stay in Senggigi or elsewhere in Lombok.

Me and my best friend had a great stay in Somewhere Lombok. We feel the Luxury prior to arrival. The team reconfirm our return flight details and send us the activities flyer that we can experience during our stay. Hence, we can arrange in advance and will not waste our time in Lombok wondering where to go. The moment we step in Lombok International Airport, the Concierge Team greeted us right on the meeting point. Once we arrived, the Team has prepared cool towels and passion fruit juices for refreshment. We got all information from "Ziyan" who escorted us with her smile, and she did the orientation well, which made us feel the extravagance. The room was spectacular. It has stunning hills view with the sun rising to say hello and boost your new day. It was spacious, comfortable bed, unique and contemporary interior design. For the excursions, we thank you Emil and Bima who has explained to us the places that we have chosen and gave us more details on hidden gems on our trip. We recommend you all to experience the Waterfall Trekking to Tiu Kelep, but they have other options to like Benang Kelambu and Benang Stokel. Also do not miss the Secret Gilis Full Day Trip it was wonderful experience. They will take you to 3 Gilis (Gili Kedis, Gili Nanggu, and Gili Sudak) and discover the beautiful sea life that Lombok has. Thanks to Zayn and Tunjung who has accompanied us and driving carefully on our trip. They have free shuttle down to Kuta, they have 2 meeting point and definitely you have to discover it especially for aperitif and dinner. Thanks to Isrok for recommending some places to do shopping. Not forget to mention their daily breakfast and all day dine in menu also mouthwatering, we compliment Chef Kanam and his team for the great skills on making different Chef's Specials every day, therefore only one dinner missed because we want to experience Kuta evening time. Apologies I could not mention all team members name, but The Deck Team also friendly and attentive. I congratulate Somewhere Team for the outstanding hospitality. We are looking forward for our next visit.

At somewhere, we felt completely looked after, at one with nature, part of the resort community and instantly at peace.
How to summarise our the stay at the luxe nature hideaway, Somewhere into words will be a tricky task because it was so wonderful and so unique. Even before we arrived we were kept up to date with our requests and so right from the start we felt looked after. From the moment we arrived to the moment we said our (reluctant) goodbyes Somewhere was more than just a place we were guests at, it felt familiar. This was due to the professionalism and more importantly the generosity and kindness of both the front of house and the restaurant staff. At Somewhere you are looked after by a team of staff, all with the same objective, to genuinely wish the best possible experience for you and to go the extra mile to make that happen. So thank you Somewhere staff, for the constant efforts you made to make us feel at home in this slice of paradise.
As for the location and the surroundings, again words will fail to do it justice, but I will say that you are instantly immersed into the natural beauty, with panoramic views of the beaches added to the sounds of the clinking cow bells as the buffalo and goats calmly wander around their tracks, it’s invokes both the feelings of indulgence and serenity. Upon being shown to our villa, not long after we were also welcomed by a yellow hummingbird who came to say hello to us by our balcony - one of countless special moments (alongside our 10/10 massages, our divine meals and one or two… or three cocktails) we will forever look back on with a smile.
During our time here, Emil and the team opened their arms to us, and allowed us to be part of their family. Somewhere, is a beautiful place, but it’s the staff and their smiles and their kindness that is what makes Somewhere… Somewhere special.

Beautiful outlook, the staff were all very helpful and friendly, they were even happy to send my forgotten reading books back to me in Bali free of charge. The remote location was great for us as we were there to surf, and the surf was less crowded at Are Guling than what we are used to in Bali or at Snapper Rocks. Somewhere organised motorbike hire for our 5 night stay which was great, can recommend hiring their bigger bike to get around the hilly region. If visiting with family would recommend asking for one of the three top villas to not have to navigate as many stairs to the room. Curtesy bus driver was a great guy and the bus itself is a bit of a novelty to ride in, very comfortable. The spa staff were lovely and the spa was a beautiful clean, airy space. The front desk ladies Elma and Amil, restaurant and bar staff were all phenomenal.

I recently stayed at Somewhere Lombok Resort, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The staff was attentive and genuinely warm, making us feel right at home.
The food was good, with a wide variety of delicious local and international options. Each meal was crafted with care, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs.
The resort itself is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere that really allowed us to unwind. If you’re looking for a sweet getaway in Lombok with top-notch service and mouthwatering food, I’d highly recommend Somewhere Lombok Resort. We can't wait to come back!

The property is new and reasonably nice but I wouldn't want to spend more than a short stay there unless you have your own transport. There is nothing around the property: the trip to Kuta is about 20-25 minutes and it is not feasible to walk to the nearest beach. There is a hotel shuttle but it doesn't run often enough and is inflexible on schedule. The stairs from the rooms to the common area/restaurant are very steep without shade which makes for a hot walk during the day. The staff are all really nice and helpful but it was a little irritating when the owners (we can only assume that was who it was - they ignored the guests) treated the only common/restaurant/hangout area as their office with multiple business meetings throughout our stay.

Somewhere Lombok is breathtakingly beautiful. Sat on top of the hill surrounded by lush green valley, overlooking the beach below. We stayed for a week and could have stayed a month longer. The rooms are tastefully decorated with furniture made by local craftsman and a floor to ceiling window with a view of the hills. The private plunge pool is also a very nice touch. The service was very good, everything done with a smile. The cocktails were particularly notable as was the beef tataki! The somewhere team helped organise some activities too, an afternoon on a sailboat around the gilis, white water rafting and private sunrise yoga. Already looking forward to coming back. Thank you Somewhere for a great stay.
