Stayed here with 2 other women for a "girl's weekend". The rooms were large.. a king sized bed, bunk bed and a fold out sofa (I think, we didn't use it) gave us all plenty of space. Dated and a little musty smelling.. but carpet and the bathroom looked clean. Lodge is very nice with a pool, hot tub and...

Beautiful lodge in Illinois largest state park. Room rates and restaurant prices are very reasonable. Large in-door pool and great hiking trails. We took our grand children and they loved their over night trip. Our breakfast was amazing. Special thanks to our wonderful waitress Darlene.

We loved it here. We enjoyed hiking some of the trails. The onsite restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. We stayed in a room at the lodge and it was clean and nice size. We brought in a rollaway bed so could fit five of us in the room. One of my boys rented a bike onsite to ride...

The lodge itself is rustic and was built solid. The fireplace is great and there are large comfortable chairs in the public area. And games available. We finally decided to stay in the older wing (though also viewed a room in the newer section before we decided). The older wing is quieter. the rooms we looked at in the older...

My husband and I booked the Eagle Package. My husband went for a hike while I enjoyed the outside patio. We joined several couples for dinner which is included in the package. The food was wonderful and it was perfect atmosphere to chat with other couples. We played games and enjoyed the large room with the fireplace for several hours....

Minus -2 for clueless front desk personnel Minus -1 for closed winery We drove up yesterday to visit the Lodge and try out the Mary Michelle Winery inside it. The website lists 2pm as opening, but it didn't open at 2pm. When my husband asked the front desk, they just told him it would be in a few minutes. Half...

We stayed in one of the cabins, and it was nice, comfortable, and clean. It was nothing fancy, but it wouldn't take a lot of work to update it just a bit. The room furniture and curtains were looking a bit shabby, but it was quite adequate. The lodge main room is awesome...the CCC really knew their stuff when doing...

We enjoyed a get-away weekend at the Lodge. Beautiful location and the Lodge has such character and appeal overlooking the Mississippi River! The State Park has scenic hiking trails along the bluffs. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Grafton has quaint shops, wineries with views of the Mississippi, and entertaining eateries. Looking forward to...

We stole away for 24 hours of forced family fun at Pere Marquette State Park. We had never been and had decided to do a quick last minute trip. We were lucky to get a room in the lodge. With only 50, they book up quickly. For me the draw was the hiking, for my daughter, the pool and mom...

We decided to take a quick get away and Pere Marquete is the perfect spot for scenic locale, history, convenience and close proximity to St Louis/St Charles counties. We were offered the Eagles Package which is a fine value , to include a river view room , 2 meals and a drink coupon, for just over $100.00 per night. The...
