We are happy to be on your "list". The Herrington was originally a creamery, hence the milk and cookies at turndown and the cow from Chicago's "cows on parade" in the lobby.

The Harrington, is everything you would want for a romantic getaway. Our room with the whirlpool tub, foreplace and balcony overlooking the river was lovely. We have been several times and its always a lovely stay.
Enjoyed lunch on Christmas Eve with some friends in the cozy bar area. The food was well prepared, and the bartender was attentive. I had the pub burger. The Christmas tree was beautiful and was a nice backdrop. Love the comfortable yet sophisticated atmosphere.
