We booked this B & B at the last minute. We had looked around for rooms available since it was a holdiay weekend but this was the only room we could find. The room we booked (the Lady Ashley) was listed as the most expensive room out of the 4 rooms in the house. We figured the price was higher...

This is a lovely and beautiful bed and breakfast, which is exquisitely furnished with antiques. Mike and Anita are great hosts that make you feel at home, give great tips for the area, and serve a delicious breakfast. It is just 5 minutes to the Galena downtown area in a quiet residential area. There is a train track close, with...

Innkeepers are skilled at entertaining and well-versed in the local history. The 5 pm Parlor Party was fun to meet the other guests after a day of shopping in downtown Galena. Breakfast each morning at 8:30 am was a feast for the eyes as well as tastefully prepared and professional presentations. There is a feline greeter as you enter or...

We spent a night at the Queen Anne Guest house and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was plenty and tasty. The bed was comfortable and the electric fireplace kept us cozy and warm. The home is close to the pedestrian bridge that goes into town, it takes about 10 minutes to walk to most of the restaurants in town.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Queen Anne. Mike and Anita were so friendly and welcoming it was like staying at a home away from home. The room was cozy and the bed incredibly comfortable and the linens made it even better! At 5:00 they offered focaccia bread with oil and olives and had a variety of drinks...

My daughter and I visited Galena to celebrate her 13th birthday, and we're so glad we chose to stay at the Queen Anne! The period home is beautifully decorated, and our room was cheery and comfortable. We loved feeling like we'd stepped back in time, but we were also grateful for all the modern touches like the DVD player in...

We chose this B&B based on other reviews- glad we did. The rooms were very comfortable. It's obvious that there's been lots of attention paid to the linens. Bed sheets were super comfortable, towels were very plush and soft. The room was well equiped with an electric fireplace, chairs and a TV. And the breakfast was excellent...and I usually don't...

We stayed here for an anniversary in August and were delighted with the Victorian exterior and authentic interior - we really felt like we were living in Victorian times but with the convenience of A/C. Rooms were lovely including our bedroom and the expansive common areas on the first floor. We were served a gourmet breakfast with presentation that I...

The Queen Anne Guesthouse is a beautifully restored Victorian home. It is a very short walk to downtown Galena. Our room was comfortable, and I liked the period furniture. Carrot cake was great, the only complaint I have is that I don't like eggs for breakfast, (sorry!). Location was perfect.
