Staff was extremely helpful and caring about our stay. Everything is perfect and parking is really easy with convenient access to supermarkets, banks, restaurants etc.

We booked as a layover for O'Hare and then i started reading reviews and thinking oh no! The hotel is about a 10 min drive (shuttle from here for a very reasonable $20). WE had a king room with microwave and fridge and yes the sink was in the room not the bathroom but this is just an older building layout i guess (stopped in old US hotels where it is similar and considered charming!) Check in was quick, lady on reception very helpful. The room was clean and spacious - i think it was like $80 or something a night which is exceptional value for what you get. It is on a highway but no noticeable noise from this. If you want to order things like uber eats - its all close by.

Mechanical issues with a flight caused me to be stuck in chicago for 20 hours. American Airlines put me up in this BW hotel. 1) I didn’t know, but I had to call to get the shuttle sent to pick me up. Fine. 2) needs a new shuttle. That van was a disaster and missing a seat belt and very dirty. Driver was so nice! (Though, it was easy to tell someone was a smoker.. I put a mask on from the smell) 3) lobby needs an update pretty badly. The elevator area and hallways need some new carpet and some better lighting. It felt dingy, but not sketchy. 4) great staff! The gentleman at the front desk made sure I got booked for a shuttle to get back to the airport early in the am. Then he changed out the batteries in my tv remote. Other we’re out and about cleaning and trying to make the entrance less slippery from the rain and ice. 5) location wise, it would have been a 45-60 minute taxi ride to downtown area so I stayed in. I used Uber eats and order a bunch of local food to just hunker down for the night since the weather was cr*p. 6) my double Queen room was fine! Decent and comfy enough. Very clean bathroom and a good setup. Fridge and microwave, coffee and tv. The bed is fine, but I’m pretty picky with mattresses haha I felt safe in my room and the outlets in the lamp worked. Comfortable temperature. Breakfast starts at 6, but my shuttle will leave at 5:30 so I won’t get to try it. The overhead other guests in the lobby say breakfast was good!

The hotel fulfills its purpose if you are stranded at O'Hare airport. It is nice to finally take a shower or bath and rest after hours at the airport, but getting to and from it may cause more headache than expected. We waited over 35 minutes longer than initially told over the phone, reportedly due to busy drivers and because it had just started to snow. About 1 hour total. When he arrived, the driver wanted my teenage son and I to put a 3 and a large (half my size) 5 year old on our laps, without seatbelts. This is illegal and we refused, but they were still crammed into one seat, uncomfortably sharing a seatbelt. We sat 4 in a row with 3 seats. Another couple with a large service dog occupied the row in front of us, which only left the front passenger seat open, and yet the driver wanted to accomodate another family of six on the same trip!!! That was absolutely insane - and denigrating. We are not luggage you can stack on top of each other. Luckily the other family took one quick look inside and told the driver that no way, they'd wait for him to return. We needed to return to the airport in a few hours, but during check in the front desk person told us that the van was already booked solid for that morning. We'd have to get there (and pay) on our own. So be mindful of this when booking your stay at this hotel.

This room was lower price so I was not expecting exceptional but…The rooms were outdated and marginally clean. I did a stay-park-stay. The first check in was delayed as they worked through a person in front of me on speakerphone having their room mysteriously canceled and then being charged more. The parking spaces were very small and several cars had antitheft devices on the steering wheels.
on return we called at 10:45 for a shuttle and was told it would be there in 20 minutes ( after taking my name and confirming my reservation) After 50 minutes we I back and was told the shuttle doesn’t run after 11 o’clock and they will not be picking us up. I spent $25 on an Uber. when I arrived, they said my room had been canceled two months earlier. I did not initiate this or change the reservation. They had the same room available, but would not honor the original price and wanted to charge me $36 more (The same issue I overheard when checking in the first time). I absolutely would not stay at this location! Spend a bit more for better and guaranteed service. (I have done park and fly many times and never had such dismal/ unreliable service). I drove home at 1 am rather than stay here.

Stains all over the room. Curtains burned by cigarettes. It smelled like feet in the whole room. Electronics including the fridge were not plugged in. There was USED towel left on a rack!
The woman that checked us in treated us like idiots.
Please don't stay at this location that is the farthest from quality service.

An airline put me up here when I had a travel delay. After waiting more than 30 minutes for the shuttle, a small beat up van picked us up. The hotel was dingy, and dirty, the type of motel I would think rents their rooms by the hour. The room door wouldn’t open for my traveling companion, even after getting two additional keys. At 5am we were downstairs to catch the first shuttle back to the airport even though my flight wasn’t for hours, because they only run 1 shuttle per hour. The place was just awful. I am writing a letter to United Airlines telling them they should not refer any more passengers to this hotel. If this is your only choice, stay at the airport.

This hotel was close to the airport which is why we chose it. We found the hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. Even though our reservation was for four people, our room did not have enough towels and wash cloths for all of us. We had to request and the hotel then gave us enough sets. I would think that the room would always have enough sets of towels for the number of people staying in a room. We also found this to be an issue at another Hampton Inn that we stayed at while on this trip.

I was in town to attend a work training which ended each night at around nine. On Friday, I didn't get to the hotel until 9:30 or so, and immediately I could see that the lobby wasn't really clean and everything was very run-down and in disrepair. The pool was closed and being used for storage. There was painters tape across some of the exit doors. Someone was on the phone complaining to the manager while I waited to check in. When I went upstairs, the elevator was visibly dirty. The hallway windows were open and had no screens. In my room, the chair was broken, the bathtub faucet was broken, the sheets, towels, and bath mat had been laundered but all had stains, and the room smelled. I ended up turning off the air conditioning for the duration of my stay, which helped, but my window also had no screen. The cable on the TV wasn't working and was all fuzzy and pixelated. It was bad enough that I checked the mattresses for evidence of bedbugs and wasn't comfortable putting my belongings on the floor, but at that point it was so late I just stayed, though I didn't sleep much. The next day I put all my things in my car, thinking I could look for another hotel during the day if I had time. I left a Do Not Disturb sign on the door so no one would enter. We worked right through our meals, so I didn't have an opportunity to change hotels, and I again didn't return until near ten. I told myself they'd already charged the card, I didn't want to drive around an unfamiliar city searching for a room late at night, and I could deal with it for one more night. The room appeared untouched. I put on my pajamas and got onto the unmade bed, where I put my toes under the folded down covers. My toe touched something wet, then bumped something hard. I jumped out of bed, pulled back the blankets, and found a fresh beer bottle leaking beer onto the sheets. I packed in a hurry! I called my husband, who started searching for a new room online, and went to speak to the manager. She didn't seem particularly surprised or upset. She was the only hotel staff member I'd seen on my way out that morning, and I'd watched her clock that I had all my stuff, so make of that what you will. She gave me the runaround about a refund, and is currently doing the same to Priceline. I will never stay in a Best Western again. If this is the franchise bar, it's dangerously low. That said, the Hampton down the street was perfectly lovely, and a coworker who stayed in the Four Points Sheraton likewise had no problems. Another attendee at my training told me Sunday she'd stayed at this location also and had ended up tracking down a friend and sleeping on their couch Saturday night because she was afraid to return.

An airline put me up here when I had a travel delay and the hotel and room was a living nightmare. Big bugs crawling all around the bathroom floor. I closed the bathroom door thinking maybe it’ll keep the bugs inside. At 1am I had to go to the bathroom. The door wouldn’t open and I had to call the male desk clerk to the room to open the bathroom door which would not unlock. As a woman traveling alone I felt very unsafe in the hotel. At 5am I was downstairs to catch the first shuttle back to the airport even though my flight wasn’t for hours. I couldn’t remain in that room another moment. And when I got to OHare and grabbed something in my bag a big bug had crawled in there too despite me placing nothing on the floor. Place is nasty.
