Luckily I only spent one night at this place as a transit hotel. The location and set-up of the place is amazing, but sadly the cabins are not maintained... The bathroom was very smelly and the whole room had big mold spots!! Additionally, the room was very humid causing sleeping to feel like being in a Turkish steam bath :(...

The usual place to stay when you travel from Bukittinggi to Samosir. Big room, clean and not too noisy. Basic bathroom but good working. Very good restaurant! Good view in the morning, visit the water lily pond in front.

The hotel is located 7 km.outside Sipirok in a beautiful surrounding with a view on the mountains and it has a beautiful garden. Our cottage (nr. 11) was recently renovated and it was very spacious and clean. The service was very friendly. We staid here for just one night, but you can easily stay longer to enjoy the surrounding area.

Spend one night in July 2015 in this place for a stop-over. Terrible. What they call a deluxe room is no more than a cheap worn-out wooden shed without airco or fan. It's unhealthy hot inside and opening a window is an invitation to lots of mosquito's. No mosquitonet insite. Very much outdated and a huge lack of maintenance. Nails...

This hotel offers rooms in cottages in a pretty lay-out. But the rooms are stuffy and smell. Nothing is making the visitor feel welcome. The rest of the facilities is worn down also. No one wll dare to go swimming in the filthy pool. My advise: try to look for a different place if possible.

We stayed in this hotel en route to Sibolga. Drenched in sweat after a few days of geological field trip, we expect to feel some cool fresh air in this hotel, and we did very satisfied with the cool air and magnificent natural setting. The hotel itself located around the highest point of Sipirok. In the morning, we felt like...

The food was less than average. It was very bad weather when we arrived and we...

In a reception the uniformed man looks to the guests - army general and father founder who in 1985 founded this hotel. But in 90th he's gone to the other world. Since general is dead, the things are coming down. A room is dark, water tap totters, water is only cold, the furniture reminds old soviet hotel (I've lived under...

The hotel looks spectacular on the outside. But the room is dark and it does not smell good. We have put all the windows open but that didn't work, the smell lingered. The two of us slept in a single bed, there was no bed for couples. There is no pool or other entertainment available outside the restaurant. In the...
