The Gilboa Guest House is located in the small moshav (town) of Gidona, which has a gate that closes in the evening. Gidona is about halfway between Beit Shean and Afula. The Guest House is nestled on the slopes of the Gilboa mountain range and has a beautiful view of the valley. It is a fairly new house and has...

We had an unfortunate turn of events which lead to an impromptu stay at Gilboa Guest House. We LOVED it. It was clean and comfortable and the owner was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was an amazing spread - omelette, lots of dips, cheese and local specialities. We would not hesitate to return and experience great Israeli hospitality. Thank...

The host, Itzik, was very kind. The room itself was clean and roomy. The view was also very lovely. Itzik put a lot of heart in our breakfast. When we arrived to the dining room itzik had already set the table just for us. He also prepared us omlets on demand, asking us how would we like to eat it. Very...

This is a boutique hotel with just 10 spacious rooms. There was a problem with hot water which was sorted out within half an hour. They should have expected this beforehand. Even so it is run by a nice couple. Our reception was pleasant. There is coffee available in the small dining room at all times. Breakfast is served also...

We only made good experiences at that place. They offer free parking, a good breakfast, spacious rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. We'd stay there again if we were in this area. Gid'ona itself doesn't offer a lot but the surrounding is nice for hiking.

Located in a small village of 200 people, a welcome change from the frenetic pace of some large cities. Beautiful views, total peace and quiet, large, clean room, felt like being in your own home. Yulia was a wonderful host, and made us a delicious breakfast. We visited Gan Hashlosha, Beit Shean, and other sites within a short drive, and...

We were so surprised to find this lovely brand new looking hotel with a wonderful view of the valley from room window, a personally cooked to order Israeli breakfast and location right under the Gilboa mountain! Staff was very helpful in planning our trip in the...
