We visited the ballymac 1 weekend. We were very welcomed when we arrived. The room was lovely and clean. Could not fault it at all. The bar area & restaurant was also nice. We also got food but it was a let down. Would be back to stay but I would give the food a miss next time.

Went for mothers bday 19 of us! As usual the service and manner of staff were impeccable!! Staff bend over backwards to accommodate everyone's needs and make every occasion here a lovely experience. Food was outstanding as always and such a variety on the menu. Will be back again and again!

I just love dinning here with my husband or with family. Very friendly staff the food is delicious and great value for money. The food portions are big although sometimes I do try and squeeze a dessert in. Most definitely more greed than need on my part. These things keep us returning time and time again. Well done Ballymac fabulous...

We visited while on a 10 day visit across Ireland. This was a nice hotel from the outside. The restaurant was very nice and we had a lovely meal there. The room, however, was just a tad outdated. This could be corrected easily with updated furniture and fabrics on the bed. The bathroom was very nice and updated though! The...

Went up to ballymac with my family for a "change" from where we would usually go for a meal. As haven't been in a couple years.we went to the grill bar which was very busy but were told we have a table for you in another room... It was way down the back were the guest rooms where...basically they had...

I have stayed a few times at this hotel - its OK value for money - rooms are OK - food OK - Staff OK. Restaurant does good home cooked meals - the bar food tends to be deep fried from frozen 'snot & grot'

I brought a group of young people to the Ballymac for Xmas dinner. This venue is a bit out of the city but with great staff and super priced and well presented food it is well worth the visit. The young people had a variety of dishes and nobody complained about any element of the food.

Not in any particularly exciting spot, but a pleasant, comfortable place to stay, with a nice Bar/Restaurant attached. Rooms are comfortable and clean, but the best part is the service. Extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay a pleasure. Breakfast is not just the obligatory continental kind, but freshly cooked to order.... and very good. Recommended.
