As a family (parents and two teens) we spent two nights at Kilronan. The castle is beautiful and set in stunning countryside - the pictures of the renovation show what an amazing job has been done. We stayed in a family room which was very big and extremely comfortable. Plush furnishings in the room and throughout the hotel made it...

Just an overnight stay with breakfast and dinner in the wonderful Douglas Hyde restaurant. Stayed in one of the castle suites and we were both impressed. The quality of the bed, furniture and soft furnishings were all excellent. The room was huge. The only slight drawback was that there was no wifi available in the room, however it was available...

Stayed here with a family group. Hotel gorgeous. Rooms and Spa are lovely. Had afternoon tea which was lovely and tasty. My only complaint is that the staff are not very helpful or knowledgeable. Waitress didn't know the menu and had to go into the chef a number of times. Highly recommend otherwise.

Spent a night here at a Christmas party. The place is amazing. Gothic decor, sumptuous rooms and food is device. Hoggwarths with a modern sufisticated twist. It's on a private estate near a little village called ballyfarnon. Lovely walks around the hotel with lake views.

Gorgeous decorated rooms - all very spacious and beautiful bathrooms. Interior and common parts decorated with chandeliers - you truly get a castle/royal experience with beautiful surrounding grounds overlooking a lake. Some walking trails as well to explore the grounds. Bring swim suit - great pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna. Only bad points: - No wifi in rooms which is...

We spent one night at Kilronan Castle as wedding guests. It is a Gothic themed modern hotel in lovely grounds, but it was badly designed. Few bedrooms seemed to have a view. Our room faced other rooms across a lightwell. The people opposite were literally looking straight into our room. Without net curtains we needed to pull the main curtains...

What a magical place! Myself and my fiancee had the best weekend of our lives here, with Kilronan Castle doing everything to ensure a perfect weekend for us and all of our 150 guests. Firstly, everyone was awestruck by the jaw dropping drive up to the castle. The grounds are manicured perfectly, with lovely walks around the beautiful lake. The...

One of our favorite hotels. Fantastic castle atmosphere. We stayed in a fantastic room. I think we were upgraded for free. The hydrotherapy pool was great, not very many people there was means it was very quiet. Staff in the spa and hotel were very friendly and helpful. We ate here and the food although was very good was slightly...
