This place was great. It's ultra modern at reasonable prices. The staff was super helpful. The room and bathroom were way bigger than I expected them to be. We have been to a few places in Chicago and felt like we were crammed into closets, but not here. The lounge is a nice way to unwind after walking around the...

The hotel itself is very beautiful, you can really tell a lot of attention has been put into the decor. The lounge area is very cool and cozy and the drinks are delicious. I was very pleased with the size and the look of our room. The bed was comfortable and the shower was large enough for 2. Room service...

If going to Chicago and not into massive hotel bills but need to be at the center of town this is the place~! Right on the major L-Loop trains you get off, go down the stairs and you are there! Coming in from O'Hare you are on the blue line - which is two blocks over but at "Lake" you...

We were going to the city for a play at the Oriental Theater and wanted to stay close. After comparing most of the hotels in the theater district we decided on the Silversmith for a couple of reasons. 1st the location was only a couple blocks from the theater, The Bean, Macys, Michigan Ave. 2nd the package we got included...

The Silversmith was a good alternative to the other hotels in Chicago inside the train loop that defines downtown. The price was better than the chain hotels nearby. The hotel is literally 30 steps from a elevated train station. We got our train cards ahead of time and caught the train at Midway and rode to the Silversmith directly from...

The Silversmith is my new go to hotel in the Chicago loop. I found this hotel by accident t and it will upset me if I try to return and not find availability. The rooms are spacious and the staff is friendly and professional. I will be back.

We stayed for 3 days for the thanksgiving long weekend. Room was clean, modern, spacious with all the trimmings. Breakfast downstairs could have been a little bigger for the price, left feeling a little bit hungry... but maybe I...
