The Silversmith Hotel is in an ideal location in the Chicago downtown loop near Millennium Park, the Chicago Art Institute, the River walk and numerous restaurants and theatres. The service staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make certain our stay was not only comfortable but carefree. Having arrived early, our bags were stored and then we were...

Very friendly and helpful staff; beautiful room and lobby. Great location a short walk from the train station, the water, and the Magnificent Mile. The restaurant and bar are also great. Well worth the price.

Beautiful rooms and clean lines in the lobby and street level bar. Just my style. I booked directly with the front desk. Location was convenient to everything we wanted to do, Art Institute of Chicago, Cultural Center, Architecture River Tour and more. It is close to the train and a fabulous bakery. The staff provided friendly, competent assistance for guest...

We arrived late in the evening and a kind young woman welcomed us. The room was big enough for all four of us and our luggage, also the bathroom was new and clean. The next morning two very kind ladies helped us with all the means the had. The hall of the hotel offers all the space necessary for a...

Ok it's an expensive city , l get that. But again TripAdvisor has let me down, reviews are great, expectations great, $1200.00 three nights stay in the Windy City. Then l arrived at the Silversmith hotel, door men a little busy chatting but that's cool, it was a cold night. Check into room 317, shown the elevator and dragged the...

Just completed a quick trip with my husband and our two young (4, 2) sons. This hotel was perfect for us. The location was excellent; easily walkable to the Shedd, the Maggie Daily park and Grant Park. A big bonus for us was being able to see the trains go by from our room (for those of you concerned about...

Lovely little hotel in a great location. I have one more night here and I'll be sad to leave in the morning. Bed is super-comfortable and fluffy and the bathroom is spacious and modern. Toiletries are Molton Brown, and my hair has never been so soft. I got upgraded to a mini suite-type room, with a separate sitting area, two...

The room was a small suite with kingsize bed and pullout couch bed. two TVs, refrigerator, very upscale look. Loved the shower. Very nice downstairs area with a bar and comfortable seating. The location is the best feature. All down town attractions within walking distance.

It was the end of my holiday....hotel room was luxurious, (not my usual style), bed, bathroom and proximity to all Chicago has to offer was great!
