I had a King Suite, which was large with many amenities, nice bathroom, kitchen and reasonably priced items in the minibar. However, radiator heating was somewhat loud with its knocking and the mattress definitely needed to be replaced. The lobby needs new carpeting and/or wood

We were looking for a hotel close to Wrigley so we could walk for a concert Labor Day weekend. This hotel was perfect! The hotel is quaint and welcoming at a very reasonable price. The suite we had was perfect for the 3 of us so that we each had our own bed. The bathroom was

Was not sure what we would get from a "boutique" hotel, but was NOT disappointed. It was just what me, my wife and teenage daughter were looking for.....Old Chicago personality. The staff was great. We had a small issue with our room, at check-in, but the staff made sure to

Our three night stay was interrupted by loud banging on the heating pipes during the middle of the night, each night. So much for a good night's rest. Otherwise, staff was friendly, facilities were very nice, and location good. But, the pipe noise issue needs to be resolved.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your honest feedback regarding your stay at The Majestic. Please accept our apologies for the banging pipes- it is an older building and boiler goes on/off at random times based on sensors. Thank you again for your review and we hope you would give us another chance if travels bring you back to Chicago. Sincerely, Roxana D Majestic Hotel

Lovely hotel located conveniently to Wrigleyville, Boystown, and Lake Michigan. The baseball motif is particularly charming. The staff are great. The environment gives you the feeling of relaxation in the heart of the city.

Bear and Allie didn't want to leave. I enjoyed the comfy bed, too.
Ely's special touches were a little different each day, adding to the fun.

Do they have a state government rate?
Noworreez, Depends on the date. Usually during the summer we won't, but please contact us directly with a date that you have in mind and we'll be happy to help you.

What is the parking situation?
They are affiliated with a parking garage that is adjacent to the property - NOT a valet. It was $25 a night, which I felt very reasonable, and my experience with it was very positive.

I have no questions for the Majestic staff.
Google Maps I dictated there is a 10 minute drive or about a 35 minute walk to the theatre from the Majestic Hotel. For sushi, I highly recommend Diva Thai & Sushi Bar on N Halstead. Three of us had sushi, the fourth had a delicious green curry that took my tastebuds back to Bangkok. The food was delicious, the service was great. Our server was available when needed, but did not hover. Unfortunately I can’t provide a Cuban recommendation personally at this time.

The time a taxi takes from the airport depends largely on the hour of the day. At 3:00 AM you could probably make it in about 30 minutes or so. At 3:00 PM it could take a very long time. When I had an early morning flight out of Chicago, I actually went and stayed the night at an airport hotel to be sure I would make it. A good strategy. I can't remember the taxi fare--sorry!
