I recently stayed at this hotel for a few hours on 11/7 at 5am check-in and checked out at 7am. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the front desk agent couldn't not find my reservation even after I provided them with my confirmation...More

Terminal 5 is the international terminal. My first arrival there was from St. Louis and so it was not the international terminal, it was basically walking outside after getting luggage and then crossing the road (jkwebb had it correctly, across from the Hilton). After our trip to Italy, we came back on an international flight, so it was a different part of the airport to terminal 5, not anywhere near our first flight. I had asked at the front desk at the Marriott where to go for our return flight pickup, and they said just to call them when we got thru customs with our luggage. It ended up being right outside the international terminal. I don't think those run as often as the domestic flights. So yes, as Bob F said above, have their phone number handy and they will be there to get you. It all was very smooth.
