Get a river view on a top floor. The rooms are very comfortable with cool art and nice beds. Fantastic location right on Michigan Ave where all the shopping and restaurants are at your door step. The lake is also right outside. Very good choice!
I arrived 2 hours early (11am). I went to the desk just to see if they had a room eta and to store my luggage so I could start sight seeing. Luckily the Westin accommodated me and had a room immediately ready for me. Score!...More

Great location close to shops and restaurants
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
